Hi guys, I have my BSN in nursing currently studying for my license. I have babysat for over 7 years personally but worked with kids for 9 years since I worked in summer camps. EXPERIENCES: I have worked in clinical settings with children such as pediatrics and NICU. But I also have experience with children with autism and ADHD for over 4 years. I have also worked with children that have diabetes. I understand that patience, caring and love is key. I want each child to feel safe and have the space to grow. I am CPR certified and have availability throughout the day. I am also willing to do last minute bookings! During the last couple of months we have all needed a break, feel free to message me for a date night or when you need some extra help while working. I love playing board games and building buildings with connective blocks! I currently have experience with a 3 year-old. I am accustom to picking up the child from school and taking her to activities. I love encouraging children to be who they want to be. For instance, if a child wants to be creative or sporty we will either spend the day painting or go an adventure through the park. I have also had experience working with a 5 year old who was very active. I can range with different ages of children because I have experience of working with children in an urban environment. The children were able to explore nature and it’s beauty. I try my best to enforce the safest environment possible with both the child and the parent. I have worked with parents usually for the long term but am looking for occasional gigs. A fun fact about me is that I have played and taught basketball, tennis and was a volunteer soccer assistant with the ages groups of 7-13. I’ve spent the pandemic studying trauma informed, consent based rehearsal spaces and mental health first aid. Both of these skills have been easily transferable to my childcare work. Cancellation policy: cancellation less than 24 hours my policy is full payment. If it’s within 72 hours, it’s half the agreed payment, and more than 72 there isn’t a fee. If you come home more than 15 minutes late with no communication I reserve the right to charge a late fee on top of that extra time. If you come home early I still charge for the full time booked since I had to block that time out in my calendar, unless we’ve agreed on it beforehand.

Hi! I'm currently a college student majoring in psychology with aspirations for nursing school! At present, I have no idea exactly what I would like to specialize in, but I have a feeling it will ultimately be in pediatrics. I've spent most of my life working with children, be it as a general babysitter, a nanny, a peer mentor, a tutor, a lifeguard, or a camp counselor at a sleep away camp for several years. I love getting to know kids and helping them foster their interests and creativity, as well as teaching them to think out of the box!
