I have also been a caregiver/babysitter for two of my four grandchildren as a regular job, on Bainbridge Island and have taken care of all my grandchildren throughout their lives on many different occasions. I have also been a caregiver for the elderly for the past 6 years for a company that just closed its doors, unfortunately. I have two cats and have had cats all my life. They love me and I love them.

Through the years my concentration has been in three main areas: skills development, leadership training and character building. I am trained CPR/First Aid certified from my time as a Swim Instructor at the JCC. In my free time I enjoy crafting, cooking, yoga, writing, boxing, pickleball, and being out in the sun. I'm a pretty calm and easygoing guy, and always make an effort to engage with the kids I watch. I’m a pretty active person and like to get the kids outside when I can; bike rides, lava monster and soccer are frequent activities.
