I am 22 years old, and grew up as the eldest in my family with 2 significantly younger sisters, and several cousins, whom I have helped keep an eye on. Children bring a sense of wonder and curiosity many adults have lost, which is why I believe it is our responsibility as caretakers to responsibly foster these traits in a safe environment. I believe the best way to do this is to play, imagine, discover, and grow with those whom I watch. They have as much to teach me, as I do to them. Pets are family too, which is why I understand the love and compassion needed to care take for them as well. In addition to raising and homeschooling my children, I was a licensed foster parent for 3 years, I served as the Girl Scout leader for my children's troop in 2[removed]. I currently work as the children's church teacher at my church, work part time at The Boys and Girls Club and volunteer volleyball coach upper elementary and middle school girls. I have facilitated several children's programs in Snohomish County through Millennia Ministries as well.
