I raised two wonderful humans to adulthood, and have been teaching high school English for 15 years while earning numerous awards and commendations. I also come trained as a first responder through 15 years of experience with Search and Rescue which includes certification as EMR (including First Aid, CPR, and AED for infants through adults) as well as numerous awards and commendations. I volunteered for 10 years in the youth program at my church (Calvary Chapel, Reno/Sparks), worked as the lead teacher of the school-age summer program at Little Knights and Maidens, led the youth program at my local library for many years, and led my own children through myriad sports and activities (soccer, dance, 4H, Scouts, etc).
