I currently work at Stanford Children’s Hospital as a Patient Companion and my duties were similar to babysitting duties and much more. I have worked at Stanford Children’s Hospital for nearly 4 years and previous to that I worked in senior homes as a CNA. I also have my CPR/BLS certification in pediatrics and adults. I have also volunteered to provide companionship to seniors in hospice care! My experience at Stanford has taught me so much about children such as how to promote developmental skills, newborn care, or even keep kids entertained while maintaining a safe environment. I have a bachelors in public health and a minor in women’s health issues and I am currently pursuing nursing school!
