I'm currently a college student who recently stepped away from full-time work to focus on education, and I'm excited to find part-time work doing something meaningful—helping care for kids and pets. While I’m new to professional childcare, I’ve spent lots of time around babies and toddlers in my circle of family and friends, and I genuinely love being part of their world as they learn and grow. I’m especially close with my teenage cousin I’ve known since he was an infant. I'm also super comfortable helping out in a busy household! I'm used to managing the chaos that comes with two energetic Siberian huskies, so I'm no stranger to keeping things calm, organized, and running smoothly. Mostly every job I’ve had, has been working with kids!! I’ve been a nanny, a preschool teacher for 8 years, and for the past 2, at a high school. I’m a mother of a 16 year old daughter, and an auntie to 3 that I see all the time. They are ages 3, 6, and 7. I always strive to be patient, kind, and understanding. Hi! I’m a 4th Grade teacher in Denver Public Schools district on summer break. I’ve taught elementary grade levels (all subjects!) for 6 years. Throughout the years, I’ve taught 3rd grade, 2nd grade, and 4th grade. I am very familiar with the Literacy and Math standards progression from K-5 and the strategies/language students need to learn to reach their academic goals. In past summers, I have taught summer school, coordinated summer camps, and worked for the parks and rec department a coaching soccer and basketball. I believe that learning needs to be a great mix of hard work and fun! This summer, I decided to take the summer off and not commit to a full time position. After working as a baby sitter for a few years I got a job working with a business in Durango Colorado called Nifty Nanny through 2017 and 2018. After that I kept doing babysitting in Tuscon Arizona. In 2021 I worked at a overnight summer camp called Colvig Silver Camps for 2 months so I’ll have plenty of games and activities to keep your kids happy. I have CPR certification and Wilderness First Aid Certification.
