Aloha! I am a current student at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and majoring in Elementary Education. As my mom is a long time elementary educator, I have always been surrounded by teachers and childcare. I assisted my mother and other teachers in their classrooms since I can remember and was also a after-school A+ leader during high school. Working with kids is my passion and I truly believe that allowing children to learn and grow in safe environments is extremely important. I have hands-on experience as a preschool assistant teacher, private nanny, and pet sitter, along with several years working with children through youth sports and classroom settings. I am currently a full-time Marine Biology student at Hawaii Pacific University, balancing academics with several years of hands-on childcare experience as a teacher’s aide, math tutor, and volleyball coach.
