Hello, I go by Koi and I'm looking for a part time nanny/sitter position for 25-30 hours a week between the Olathe and Lawrence, KS areas. I have two years of floater experience in childcare with toddlers and babies and absolutely adore my kiddos! I get 16 hours of annual health & safety and developmental training, and will continue to do so to ensure I can provide the best environment for your child. I'm quiet, attentive, calm-natured, but value firm boundaries and redirection, and like to create a child-led environment fostering independence. I take "lead by example" to heart and value modeling above all else. As a natural-born learner and academic, I am always looking to educate myself on, understand, and find new ideas on supporting your child's development—cognitive, social, emotional, physical, language...they all matter! I also love outdoor play and using nature to explore creative opportunities, but some of my other favorites are reading and sensory play! I love to take inspiration from the book Sustainable Play. I'm not a parent, but I understand how important your child(ren) is/are to you. Above all, they are my top priority, and I hope my passion for children will be seen in my care for them! *I can offer references from co-workers and professors as requested.
Hi! My name is Soraya, I’m 19 years old, and I truly enjoy spending time with kids and helping them learn and grow. I’ve been caring for children from newborns up to age 11 for the past year, and I love creating a calm, safe, and fun environment for them. I’m a patient and imaginative person, and I love using creativity to keep kids engaged — whether that’s through storytelling, games, crafts, or outdoor play. I’m also very respectful of household rules and routines, and I always communicate clearly with parents through whatever method they prefer, whether it's texts, calls, or quick updates at the end of the day. I have some college experience, and I’m comfortable caring for up to two children at a time. Having a positive impact on a child’s day means a lot to me, and I’d love the chance to bring my calm energy and creativity into your home!
Hello! My name is Kasiya I’m a 21-year-old college student at Johnson County Community College, currently pursuing my degree in Respiratory Care with the goal of becoming an RRT. I was born and raised in Overland Park, KS, and have been working in childcare for 7 years in a variety of settings—including summer camps, daycares, after-school programs, and in-home care. I’m comfortable caring for children of all ages, from newborns to teens (0–14 years old), and I’m also great with pets. I’m CPR certified and approved to supervise groups of up to 10 children at a time. My experience includes homework help, arts & crafts, planning fun group activities, and keeping a safe and positive environment. I’m also happy to assist with light cleaning, meal prep, and household tasks to help things run smoothly. Families describe me as dependable, patient, and energetic, and I love creating a safe, fun, and engaging atmosphere for every child in my care!
“Kasiya was great! She watched our daughter and was very reliable, a great communicator and our gal seemed to have a good time. I would have her back again. I recommend her!”
Hi! My name is saydee and I am super excited to meet new families and become a part of your family. I have my associates degree in early childhood development from JCCC. During my schooling I worked at a daycare in the infant room working with infants ages to 6 weeks to a year. I also experienced working in the toddler room which was ages 2-4. After graduating I became a nanny to 4 children, ages 3, 7, 8, and 11. I have worked there for 2 years. My tasks were daily chores such as dishes, laundry, and tidying up. I would make snacks, breakfast and lunch on a daily. My goal while I was a nanny was to bring everyone together to have fun and productive days. I would also encourage reading, practicing grammar, math, and learning letters and new numbers (for the youngest)! I love being creative and bringing new ideas into children's lives. Creating crafts is an excellent way to express creativity, and i've found that it feels rewarding to children. I also love reading and encourage it very heavily, learning how to read, reading to young ones and going to the library! While I was getting my associates degree I did get CPR certified for infants and young children!
Hello, Imm Allison and I am a 42 year old living in Olathe. I have been here for 11 years. I moved here from Iowa to be close to my niece and nephews, who are now 18 and 14. I am a paraeducator at an elementary school in Overland Park. I have been doing that for 11 years now. Prior to that, I have worked in daycares and as a private nanny. I enjoy working with kids if all ages. In my free time I enjoy babysitting. I love the outdoors whether it's playing games, sports or simply just going for a nice walk. I also love swimming. I also enjoy playing board games and reading books to children. Other than babysitting, I enjoy reading good nin fiction books, spending time with friends and family and thrifting.
