My name is Roslyn, and I go by Roz for short. I have over 12 years of experience in childcare and hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) certification in Early Childhood Education. I currently provide nurturing childcare services that include age-appropriate learning activities, creative play, music and arts enrichment, storytelling, homework help, and tutoring support in a safe and encouraging environment. I also teach Spanish to toddlers and pre-K students with O’Neil Language Academy, where I introduce early language skills through songs, movement, and interactive lessons designed to keep young learners engaged. In addition, I offer tutoring services for children who need extra academic support, focusing on building confidence and foundational skills at their own pace. Outside of childcare and education, I am a freelance musician based in Nashville. I play saxophone and sing, and I enjoy incorporating music into learning whenever appropriate. My hobbies include baking, dancing, and learning new languages. I speak a little Spanish and am always eager to continue learning. Hello! My name is Gabrielle! I am originally from Illinois but I moved to Tennessee in June 2021. I am offering child care, pet care and household services. I have 5 years of experience with child care, 1 year with senior care and i’ve been taking care of pets for most of my life. I love being a babysitter, I have learned so much from working with children and I am so excited to get back into it. I have experience with all children ages 0-10. My responsibilities usually included prepping meals, doing small crafts and projects, providing transportation to and from school and any after school activities. Helping with after school and before bed routines. I offer household services as well, including cleaning, cooking, laundry, and type of keep up or organization and running small errands. I am happy to work with dogs and cats. I can feed, walk, and play. I can work with big dogs as well. I would just want more information on any other animals you have.

We’ve had the absolute pleasure of having Gabrielle as our nanny for school pick-ups and drop-offs for my 9-year-old daughter. With a week-on/week-off 50/50 custody schedule, flexibility and reliability are incredibly important to our family — and Gabrielle has exceeded every expectation. She is punctual, dependable, and adaptable, seamlessly adjusting to our rotating schedule without ever missing a beat. Beyond her professionalism, what truly stands out is the genuine connection she’s built with my daughter. My child looks forward to seeing her, which speaks volumes about her warmth, kindness, and the trust she creates. Gabrielle goes above and beyond to make transitions smooth, keep communication clear, and ensure my daughter always feels safe and supported. If you’re looking for someone who is not only reliable but truly cares about the kids she helps care for, Gabrielle is exceptional. We are so grateful to have found her and can’t recommend her enough.

$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 6 families in Mount Juliet, TN

Hello! I am a nature-based early childhood educator. I recently moved to Nashville from California, where I worked as a lead teacher at Northeast Los Angeles Forest School for three years. I am originally from Wisconsin and have a deep love for the outdoors and the growing movement in education towards incorporating more opportunities for free play in nature. My work is informed and inspired by Reggio-Emilia and Montessori pedagogy, David Sobel, and Piaget. I am passionate about supporting children as they explore the wide world, and I enjoy finding engaging ways to facilitate happy, healthy development. I am a strong believer in the benefits of emergent curriculum and learning through play, and I have experience developing curriculum to support this. I have a bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and I am currently working on an MS in psychology from Southern New Hampshire University with a speciality in child and adolescent development. During my senior year of college, I had an internship working at a respite center for children ages 6 and under with special needs, and had the opportunity to develop and implement individualized therapy programs for kids. Prior to this, I spent four years caring for children as young as six weeks and as old as twelve at a child care center in my home town in Wisconsin. It was there that I became a registered lead teacher with the Dept. of Children and Families. I have since taught at two preschools in Los Angeles, taken several continuing education courses and certifications, and conducted private care sessions for individuals and groups. I am Wilderness CPR certified, and I also have a valid license and experience transporting children. Currently, I am looking for part time work while I focus more intensely on my graduate degree. I am eager to finish the program both because I am an enthusiastic learner and so that I can move on to my next goal of starting my own forest school program here in Nashville. I am open to single family care or care-shares with friends, and I can offer academic support as well as creative ideas for engaging and developmentally beneficial activities.

Josie’s communication prior to our first booking was great. On the day of, she was on time, courteous, thoughtful, and a natural with our baby boy.
