I was a nanny for a family of 3 beautiful baby girls. Olivia (3-6), Gabby (1-3), and Izzy (4 months-2) so I have plenty of experience with children. I also babysat for another family that has 3 children - two girls, one boy, same ages as the previous family. The third family I provide date night services for has two wonderful children - 9 year old boy and 5 year old baby girl. The fourth family I occasionally babysat for have 3 beautiful children - 5 year old girl, 2 year old baby boy, and 1 year old baby boy. Growing up I always wanted to watch my younger siblings and cousins and surround myself with babies. Hi! My name is Sadie! I will be 23 years old in September and just returned home to Utah from Washington State, where I was attending college for soccer and my degree in psychology. I decided to return home early as i felt it was the right decision in order to better myself as a person, daughter, sister, and as future wife and mother. I am the oldest daughter to a family of 7, and the oldest granddaughter of a large extended family of about 50 people. Family is most important to me, so I’m very blessed to have my extended family live close enough together so we can spend multiple days together each week! I've played sports and the piano my whole life, and have always loved spending as much time as I can outside. I have my own animals, so pets aren't a problem for me at all! I feel that I have a very optimistic personality and feel it's very easy for me to adjust to different lifestyles (as long as I feel comfortable being able to live up to my standards and values for myself). Ive been babysitting since I was about 9, and have nannied since I was 14. I've had lots of experience with newborns, special needs, twins, and all other ages between newborn and 15 years, and families with up to 7 kids. I have lots of experience with overnight sitting as well! I also have my own transportation. A few years ago I took a babysitting course at the U of U to teach me the correct safety procedures in case of emergencies. While living in Washington I worked at an early childhood education center. Depending on the day I was responsible for taking care of newborns (including playing, naps, feeding, teaching motor skills, cognitive skills, etc.), or was an assistant teacher for children ages 3-6. Being around so many children at once, all coming from different backgrounds (ultimately impacting their behaviors and personalities) has been such an amazing opportunity and blessing to see how much of an impact the simple things such as, communicating gently, being intentional to understand, and actively playing with children improves their day and self-beliefs, regardless of their individual struggles, home environments, or type of personalities. I understand that having a new person take care of your kids can be stressful, which is why I think communication is very important going both ways. I was born and raised in Utah! I go to the university of Utah and I go to school Monday Wednesday and Friday just from 2-4. I used to nannie a little boy from 4 months till he was a year and a half. But I have little cousins that I used to baby sit all the time! I love babies and toddlers. I will have fun with the kids and do activities with them. I am reliable, I have a pretty open availability besides when I have school, I am patient, and my top priority is making sure the kids are safe and well taken care of:). I have lots of experience in taking care of pets! I was a dog/cat sitter for a lot of people for a couple years and i loved it! I also have a dog of my own that I take care of. I really enjoy cleaning as well. And would be happy to help with any chores or running errands that need to be done.
