Hi! My name is Sadie! I will be 23 years old in September and just returned home to Utah from Washington State, where I was attending college for soccer and my degree in psychology. I decided to return home early as i felt it was the right decision in order to better myself as a person, daughter, sister, and as future wife and mother. I am the oldest daughter to a family of 7, and the oldest granddaughter of a large extended family of about 50 people. Family is most important to me, so I’m very blessed to have my extended family live close enough together so we can spend multiple days together each week! I've played sports and the piano my whole life, and have always loved spending as much time as I can outside. I have my own animals, so pets aren't a problem for me at all! I feel that I have a very optimistic personality and feel it's very easy for me to adjust to different lifestyles (as long as I feel comfortable being able to live up to my standards and values for myself). Ive been babysitting since I was about 9, and have nannied since I was 14. I've had lots of experience with newborns, special needs, twins, and all other ages between newborn and 15 years, and families with up to 7 kids. I have lots of experience with overnight sitting as well! I also have my own transportation. A few years ago I took a babysitting course at the U of U to teach me the correct safety procedures in case of emergencies. While living in Washington I worked at an early childhood education center. Depending on the day I was responsible for taking care of newborns (including playing, naps, feeding, teaching motor skills, cognitive skills, etc.), or was an assistant teacher for children ages 3-6. Being around so many children at once, all coming from different backgrounds (ultimately impacting their behaviors and personalities) has been such an amazing opportunity and blessing to see how much of an impact the simple things such as, communicating gently, being intentional to understand, and actively playing with children improves their day and self-beliefs, regardless of their individual struggles, home environments, or type of personalities. I understand that having a new person take care of your kids can be stressful, which is why I think communication is very important going both ways. I understand the responsibilities I have in caring for children physically, mentally, socially and emotionally. Please let me know if you have any question!
“Very professional, very kid friendly.”
I have been taking care of children for 20 years, including raising my own child who is now 11. When I take care of children, I work on many things. I work on learning things such as colors, letters, shapes, numbers and more with young children. I even work with older children on learning to read. On top of this, I always have lots of games and play time. I have taken care of children of every age and cared for up to 9 children at once, including a newborn. The children are always my first priority and I love children. I am responsible and reliable. I have taken care of children (and adults) with special needs. I have learned to take care of many different personalities. I'm kind, caring, and loving. I am fun and energetic with the children, but I am firm enough that it stays a good, loving, safe environment. I care for, and treat, any child I take care of as though they are my own. I hope to hear from you.
Hi! My name is Kari, and I'm 23 years old with 7 years of experience caring for children ranging from 6 weeks to 11 years old. I've worked as a babysitter as well as in a childcare center, and I'm currently a nanny for three boys-ages 1, 5, and 7. The 1 yr old I nanny is going to start daycare in February so I'm looking for another family to nanny for while my other two nanny kiddos are in school. Ideally looking for a family needing care M-Th 9:30am-3 p.m. and Fridays 9:30am-1:15 p.m. I can help with meal prep, nap time, light house keeping, and taking the kids to activities such as library story time or the park!
Hi! I’m Iisha. I’ve lived in Utah for most of my life, and I’m now raising my family here with my husband and our two school-aged children. I have a deep love for kids and truly enjoy spending quality time with them. I’m passionate about creating fun, engaging, and nurturing experiences for children. Some of my favorite activities include reading, arts and crafts, cooking, outdoor play, and outings to places like the library, zoo, or aquarium. I'm also very comfortable with daily routines like diaper changes, naps, feedings, and light household tasks. I’m happy to help with pets (both cats and dogs) and light errands as needed. Safety is a top priority for me—I am CPR certified and always focused on creating a safe, caring environment. I would love to support a family looking for a nurturing, reliable nanny to care for and connect with their little one(s) during the week!
“Highly recommend! Always shows up early but most importantly the kids love her. Great with keeping the kids engaged. Takes them on walks, makes meals, & cleans up! We never have to worry about the kids when Iisha is taking care of them!”
My name is Romesha I graduated from SFSU with a degree in communications. I have also completed and received a certificate from AmeriCorps mentoring for Success program helping mentoring students within sfusd. I’ve also worked as an after school program leader for the YMCA and a residential care professional for the Cathedral home for children. I love helping families and creating fun activities and safe spaces for kiddos!
