[removed] ME: 55 yrs old, Recently retired from Howard County Recreation and Parks in Maryland and relocated to Midlothian, VA as of Summer 2025. Most recent position was as a recreation Supervisor focusing mostly in Special Events for all ages. Began career with HCRP caring for children in after school programs and camps. Some additional experience includes working with people with disabilities and Seniors ( including my own parents - my Father had Alzheimer's). I hold degrees in Theater and English from the University of Maryland. Very Arts oriented and creative. Have my own physical limitations so Sports and highly physical activities are not my thing but any kid or adult who enjoys the arts and being silly will like me. I'm happy to stay home with your loved ones or take them out on a fun outting. I have transportation. I also have experience with personal care. I'm not a cook per se, but I can prepare basic meals. I also adore animals of all kinds. I have a dog of my own. Pets and babies usually like my singing....lol. I can do occasional overnights with proper notice. I look forward to bringing some fun with me to share with your loved ones. *If you have/ provide arts & crafts materials, I would be happy to make things with your loved ones. Age is irrelevant. Everyone can enjoy and benefit from Art! **For Pet owners- if you want to arrange a meet and greet with my dog and allow them to play with your furbabies, that can be arranged. My dog is selective to some dogs / cats, so he will like and will play with, some not. It's unpredictable but worth a try. I have many family members and friends with pets he has met. Most have been successful. Only a few were not. ***Even if you don't have pets,but you want me to bring my dog with me to join the fun with your loved ones, I'm happy to do that as well. Pets can be very therapeutic.
