I've previously worked as a behavioral interventionist, student mentor, and summer camp counselor. My life's passion is bringing happiness to children, encouraging their learning and creativity, and just having fun! My childcare approach is based on empathy, responsibility, and compassion. When children are treated with respect and held accountable for their actions, it teaches them to be responsible, independent, and have a strong sense of self-worth. Outside of childcare, I love writing (fiction and poetry), drawing, reading, video games, and spending time in the outdoors. I was born in Vermont as the oldest of five children. I have lived in Seattle for almost 20 years and I am the mom of two. My day job is as a Physician Assistant. I love kids of all ages and as a working mom I’m very familiar with how difficult the process of finding childcare providers can be.
