I began babysitting for other families in middle school and naturally started watching pets and helping with housekeeping. I am currently an Auntie caregiver to my neighbors, friends, and family members, and I clean a friends AirBnB. I run my own massage business if you need a massage! Being an older sister I have taken care of my 3 younger siblings since I was 2 years old and helped mom with "chores." Kids are my greatest teachers. I love being active and engaging. I play piano and sand volleyball, studied 8 years of Biology, Chemistry, Nutrition Sciences and minored in Spanish. I am comfortable with all ages from infant to pre-teen, any special needs or dietary restrictions, and all pet and or housekeeping needs <3
“Alyssa was great, would hire her back again for sure. ”
Hi, I'm Ari! I'm a patient, thoughtful, and dependable caregiver who is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can grow and thrive. I am currently pursuing my Master's in Social Work with my bachelor's in Psychology. I also work part-time at a memory care facility, where I've spent the past year supporting vulnerable elderly with compassion, patience, and attention to their individual needs. I have more than five years of childcare experience caring for children from 2 months old through the preteen years, and I am certified in CPR and First Aid. I believe in meeting each child where they are developmentally while encouraging kindness, curiosity, confidence, and emotional growth through positive interactions and engaging activities. Safety is always my top priority, and I deeply value respecting each family's routines, parenting preferences, and expectations. I believe that honest, open communication builds trust and helps create the best experience for both parents and children. My goal is to provide dependable, attentive care that gives parents peace of mind while creating a fun, supportive environment where children feel valued and encouraged.
I have 9 years of experience in the classroom as a gen-ed teacher and 3 years of experience as a special education teacher for students with mild to moderate disabilities. Throughout my time teacher, in college, and high school I have worked part time for many families as a nanny, tutor, swim instructor, house manager, you name it. I am now a recent graduate with a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and I am working as a therapist with parents and kids. I love being around people, getting outside, and doing fun activities that get our brains and bodies working. I cook, clean, do laundry, plan activities for my own family and enjoy doing the same things for others.
Hi! I’m a 4th Grade teacher in Denver Public Schools district on summer break. I’ve taught elementary grade levels (all subjects!) for 6 years. Throughout the years, I’ve taught 3rd grade, 2nd grade, and 4th grade. I am very familiar with the Literacy and Math standards progression from K-5 and the strategies/language students need to learn to reach their academic goals. In past summers, I have taught summer school, coordinated summer camps, and worked for the parks and rec department a coaching soccer and basketball. I believe that learning needs to be a great mix of hard work and fun! This summer, I decided to take the summer off and not commit to a full time position. So here I am- still very much eager to be around kids on a part time basis. I’m excited to meet you, your family, and learn about how I can be the most helpful!
You can usually find me watching a documentary, checking out a brewery or new restaurant, attending a concert, traveling, doing something outside, playing volleyball, or with my friends & family. My child care experience is extensive; whether in childcare for 10 years professionally (40-125 hours a week), or babysitting for five years prior, or a seasoned coach, I have done just about everything that comes with kids (except have any of my own, yet!). I am well versed with night nannying (I’ve had 12 sets of twins & 17 singles), newborn care (in addition to night nannying newborns, I’ve cared for hundreds of infants in various other settings), household management; ie; meal prepping, shopping, tidying, implementing organizational systems & much more (ask my clients how they feel about this 😉), overnights, (in 2025 alone, I had 27 gigs ranging from 1-8 days long), multiples (day & night nanny to 9 different sets of twins), nanny shares, baby led weaning, developmental milestones, pickup/drop off/transporting children, care during events (weddings, conferences), traveling with family (domestic & international), online learning (survived the whole COVID fiasco with 4 kindergarteners), epilepsy, medications, children with speech & motor delays, ADHD, & feeding tubes (G-tubes, NG-tubes, aversions, aspiration). I was also the volleyball program director at a JEFFCO charter school, & head volleyball coach to two middle school teams & two high school teams, consisting of 50+ kids for five seasons, bringing in two championships & three second places. It all brings SUCH joy to my life & I’m super proud to be in this line of work! I take enormous pride in the fact that I have built long lasting relationships with the families I have sat for through my personality, reliability, & passion to care for children. I am beyond communicative, confident & calm in any situation that may arise & my top priority is creating a positive & safe environment for children & leaving a family’s home tidied & peaceful for parents. “We loved Delainie! Extremely professional but warm and kind. We hired her for a date night while we were visiting Denver. We wish she lived in NY so we could hire her all the time!”
