You can usually find me watching a documentary, checking out a brewery or new restaurant, attending a concert, traveling, doing something outside, playing volleyball, or with my friends & family. My child care experience is extensive; whether in childcare for 10 years professionally (40-125 hours a week), or babysitting for five years prior, or a seasoned coach, I have done just about everything that comes with kids (except have any of my own, yet!). I am well versed with night nannying (I’ve had 12 sets of twins & 17 singles), newborn care (in addition to night nannying newborns, I’ve cared for hundreds of infants in various other settings), household management; ie; meal prepping, shopping, tidying, implementing organizational systems & much more (ask my clients how they feel about this 😉), overnights, (in 2025 alone, I had 27 gigs ranging from 1-8 days long), multiples (day & night nanny to 9 different sets of twins), nanny shares, baby led weaning, developmental milestones, pickup/drop off/transporting children, care during events (weddings, conferences), traveling with family (domestic & international), online learning (survived the whole COVID fiasco with 4 kindergarteners), epilepsy, medications, children with speech & motor delays, ADHD, & feeding tubes (G-tubes, NG-tubes, aversions, aspiration). I was also the volleyball program director at a JEFFCO charter school, & head volleyball coach to two middle school teams & two high school teams, consisting of 50+ kids for five seasons, bringing in two championships & three second places. It all brings SUCH joy to my life & I’m super proud to be in this line of work! I take enormous pride in the fact that I have built long lasting relationships with the families I have sat for through my personality, reliability, & passion to care for children. I am beyond communicative, confident & calm in any situation that may arise & my top priority is creating a positive & safe environment for children & leaving a family’s home tidied & peaceful for parents. Policies: 🌸5 hour minimum payment between Friday & Sunday (available to come for shorter hours, but minimum payment of 5 hours is required). 🌸Parents who reduce the original booked hours, arrive early, send sitter home at their discretion, or cancel within one week regardless of circumstance (includes but not limited to: illness, hospitalization, accidents, vacation, change in needs, etc) will be expected to pay for the entire booked price.
“We loved Delainie! Extremely professional but warm and kind. We hired her for a date night while we were visiting Denver. We wish she lived in NY so we could hire her all the time!”
In my 20s, I started my childcare journey working as a temporary/fill-in nanny through nanny agencies, and I worked for several years as the full-time nanny/mother's helper for a family with 6 children. I have raised and home schooled my own children and have cared for several step-children including one with special needs. I have worked with elementary, middle school, and high school students (including as a camp director, counselor, and staff member). I have a clean driving record, and if I were to transport your children, I would be as careful and attentive to them as I would be with my own. I have taken Red Cross Adult/Infant First Aid/CPR/AED training. I am looking for jobs working with families who have fun together, value responsibility and kindness, and communicate well. I want your kid(s) to feel well cared for, and I think while you are out doing what you need to do, your child(ren) ought to have a really great experience too! I have most recently nannied for a toddler who is now going into full-time pre-k. I have a special place in my heart, and arms, for the very young babies, too. I have experience in home organization and management, 24-hour/overnight childcare (house-sitting and pet-sitting included), childcare in a hotel/BnB setting, as well as caregiving for conventions and the like along with a group of other childcare workers. I have helped my families with food prep, laundry, errands, senior companion care, and caregiving (as well as tutoring) for all ages of children. I’d love to meet you and your child(ren)!! 🥳
“Karen was amazing ”
Hi, my name is Rachel! I am a licensed social worker who works full-time with children and families involved with Child Protective Services. Supporting kids and helping families navigate challenges is something I’m deeply passionate about, and it’s one of the reasons I’ve continued babysitting throughout my career. Even with a full-time social work role, I still genuinely love spending time with children and being a trusted support for families. I have been babysitting since I was 13 years old and have cared for children consistently for more than 15 years. I currently babysit for several families on a date-night basis and have experience with children ranging from 4 months old to 15 years old. Whether I'm caring for an infant, keeping up with energetic toddlers, or helping school-age children with homework and routines, I enjoy adapting to each child's unique personality and needs. My experience includes meal preparation, bath time, bedtime routines, transportation, homework help, outdoor activities, and creating fun, engaging experiences that keep children safe and entertained. Families often describe me as dependable, patient, and easy to communicate with. My work schedule is especially flexible in the mornings, so I'm available to help with school drop-offs and morning routines, and I'm also available for evenings and date nights. As someone who spends every day working with children and families, I understand how important it is to find a caregiver you can trust. My goal is always to provide a safe, nurturing, and reliable presence so parents can feel confident that their children are in good hands. I look forward to meeting your family!
“Our daughter loved Rachel and keeps asking us if she can come back. She is reliable and trustworthy to take care of children. ”
Howdy! My name is Madison (but I go by Maddi as well, whichever you prefer). I am an environmental scientist and researcher by trade but engage in care giving on the side. A little bit about me: I am the eldest daughter among 6 siblings. As such, I have plenty of practical experience in addition to my years of babysitting while getting my undergraduate and graduate degrees. Regarding my personality and hobbies, I love music, art, learning, and outdoor recreation. I am a multi-instrumentalist musician - I can sing and play the guitar, piano, and ukelele. I listen to a lot of music on the daily and I like to play, listen, and dance to music with the kids I babysit. I enjoy getting in touch with my creative side as much as I can. I love painting, drawing, making random crafts. I also really enjoy reading, going to the library, and going outside whenever I get the chance. Depending on the age of your kids, I am able to help with homework and school work, (particularly with science, english, history, and some lower level maths). I like to engage kids in fun activities and see tv, cell phone usage, and other electronics as more of last resort entertainment methods. I try to stay off of my phone as much as possible when I'm babysitting so that I’m able to be present and engaged. I find that this allows kids to have more fun and also be more present with me. I drive a fully insured, completely up-to-date on maintenance 2021 Toyota Rav4, so I'm able to drop off/pick up kids from school and/or other activities in my own vehicle. I am also comfortable driving other SUVs, trucks, and sedan vehicles as well, so whatever works best for you works for me! I have a spotless driving record and take car safety extremely seriously. I am mainly looking for one-off opportunities and am able to do overnight stays during the week and weekends as well. Thanks for taking the time to read this! I look forward to meeting with you and your little ones!
