At lionsgate I worked with kids from 7th-12th grade. I am an educational assistant/para working closely with students helping with school work, mental/emotional needs. I also have experience working with adult with disabilities as a dsp in a group home setting with 4 adults with disabilities. My role in this position was to help and guide with everyday tasks and assist the needs of individuals whether it was physical or mental impairment(s). I had the responsibilities of med administration along with insulin and recording vitals. Working towards helping my clients use healthy coping skills, assist in de-escalation in a crisis and redirect if needed.
