Hello! My name is Tana and I am 24 years old. I have been babysitting since I was 14, and have experience with all ages of kids. I also have experience working as an Au Pair in Italy, and as an assistant language teacher in Bosnia. In my free time I like to spend time outside, crochet, read, and play guitar. I have a very positive attitude and love to have fun. When I am spending time with kids, I love to do arts and crafts, play outside, cook/bake together, dance, and play with toys.

Other than the content, one of my strengths while teaching was in classroom management, because I have the ability to use expectations, logical consequences, and relationships to impact student behaviors. And one of the most effective and compassionate, yet effective ways of managing inappropriate behaviors is through using Restorative Practices. I have many years of experience addressing child behavior this way and helping people, both kids and adults through conflict using this approach.

Hi! I’m a university student studying biochemistry with minors in child psychology and pharmacology. I grew up in a big family and helped care for several of my younger siblings, and more recently I cared for my newborn niece while my sister started nursing school. I’m BLS certified, patient, and dependable, and I love keeping kids engaged with crafts, reading, outdoor play, and fun activities.
