Please note I am available to work holidays but charge time and a half for those days. New Years Eve is double. Policies: I have a 4 hour minimum booking policy. CANCELLATIONS: For cancellations with less than 24 hours notice, I expect 50% of the original booking amount, which can be paid via PayPal or Venmo. EARLY RETURNS: Because I plan my time and budget around the hours booked, I ask to be paid for the entire booking, even if you come home early. LATE RETURNS: I'm usually flexible on the end time of a booking, but please text/call me if you'll be late, especially if we have not discussed flexibility beforehand. I occasionally book jobs back to back with just enough time for travel in between, and your late return can have an unfortunate impact on my schedule. For nanny shares I charge $20 per child.

Hello families! I love working with children and am looking for babysitting opportunities with kids of any age! I enjoy spending time with kids doing crafts, reading stories at bedtime, and keeping them happy and safe. Some of my hobbies include photography, singing, knitting, and yoga. I am a graduate of San Francisco State University, where I studied psychology with an emphasis on child development. I have been babysitting since high school and have worked with many local families with kids ages 0-13. I was a tutor for a year at an after school program where I facilitated activities and helped the children with their homework. After graduating college I worked for a year and a half at a group home for kids (ages 6 to 18) who struggled with regulating themselves during stress. And then most recently I taught mindfulness for two years at Oakland Public Schools and have been substitute teaching for the past year. I was very active for many years on Urbansitter back when it first started from about 2012 to 2017 and then I took a long break from it to focus on other career goals. Now I’ve decided to make a return to it since I’m on summer break and am hoping to continue with it into the next school year as I plan to be part time with my regular job.
