Megan 1 review
San Francisco
$28 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in San Francisco, CA

Hi - I'm Megan. I'm in my 30's and am offering child care, pet-sitting and household services. I had a big family growing up - four siblings and over forty cousins. As the eldest sibling, I would often be found changing diapers, preparing meals and keeping my siblings entertained. I've babysat since I was in high school and love children. During college, I was the regular (2-3 times/wk) babysitter of two families. One family I worked with had two wonderful young sons, one with autism and one with ADHD and am well-versed in how to best provide care. In addition to childcare, I am able to assist with cooking full meals and light housekeeping. I have two small chihuahuas and am happy to help with furry friends. I have a car and clean driving record and am able to drive to appointments, activities, or do other transportation-related tasks.

Megan Was punctual and mature. She knew how to engage my daughter well.

San Francisco
$30 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in San Francisco, CA

Hi, I’m Luisa . I have been working with children since I was 17 years old. I hold a bachelor’s degree in English and French, and I have experience with children of different ages. I am currently studying Early Childhood Development. Since I was a child, I’ve been passionate about teaching and caring for children, which is why I decided to become a teacher and continue my professional development here in the United States. I am also taking English and French classes to continue improving and developing my language skills. I can help with potty training, language development, and childcare.

Luisa has been caring for my 17 month old a couple days a week for the last 7 months, and has been so sweet with her. She has great energy, actively engages with her and takes her on all sorts of fun adventures. She's kind, communicative and trustworthy, and she's also been a great help around the house with whatever I need extra hands with that day - laundry, dishes, even walking the dog! We always look forward to our time with Luisa!

Ariadne 1 review
San Francisco
$30 per hour for 1 child

Hi! my name is Ariadne, I'm an experienced nanny and a teacher. I enjoy spending time with children playing and learning. I've been working with kids for almost 6 years and my strongest experience is with toddlers and babies. I am trained in first aid, I have several courses focused on child development. My responsibilities with children have included helping them with homework, taking them to/from from school and activities, diaper changing, meal prep, potty training, etc.

Ari has taken care of our 1 year old daughter full time for the past 10 months (daughter age 13 months- 23 months). Ari prepares her breakfast, lunch and snacks, takes her to the park and other activities, arranges play dates with other kids, plays with her, and puts her down for a nap. Ari has also taken care of our two kids (we have an 4 year old) at once. Ari is attentive and familiar with different developmental stages.

Mariia 1 review
San Francisco
$30 per hour for 1 child

Hi families! My name is Mariia, and I’m a professional nanny with over 8 years of experience caring for children from newborns to toddlers. I will be available to start a new full-time position starting mid to late June. I’m currently working in a full-time nanny share, caring for two sweet 2-year-olds — I’ve been with them since they were just 3 months old. Before this, I worked with a family whose baby boy I cared for from 3 months until he was nearly 2 years old. And before that, I had the joy of working with twin boys — I started when they were only 2 weeks old and stayed until they turned 2.5 years old. I’ve been trusted with newborns, multiples, and everything in between! I approach childcare with deep love and commitment. I treat every child as if they were my own, and I believe in building strong bonds through consistency, communication, and respect. I adapt easily to different parenting styles and always aim to create a calm, nurturing, and joyful environment. I am fluent in English, Russian, and Ukrainian, and I’d be happy to help introduce your child to new languages through play, reading, and everyday routines. I’d love to connect with your family to see if we’re a great fit! I'm available for an in-person meeting or a video chat at your convenience. Looking forward to meeting you! Warmly, Mariia

Mariia is a great and reliable babysitter! She does an amazing job looking after my son and keeping him entertained. I would highly recommend Mariia to all parents.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
