Amparo 1 review
South San Francisco
$35 per hour for 1 child

Hello parents my name is Amparo, I’m a Spanish speaking person living in the Bay Area for more than twenty five years.i have worked with children all my adult life. I have worked in different educational settings as well as private homes. I prefer working with infants, toddlers and preschoolers. I truly enjoyed working with children and to share my expertise with new families. I respect different parenting styles and learn from them. I have references from families that I have worked for. I’m looking to work in San Francisco. Thanks for reading.

Amparo provided daycare for my daughter Muriel over several occasions. She is highly professional, dependable, warm and easy to work with. She communicates clearly and promptly and expresses sincerity to help meet my scheduling needs. With my daughter she was entirely capable and was able to earn her trust right away. Her love of children is clear right from the start and she has a calming presence both with my baby and with me as a new mother. She had no problem asking me questions and clarifying all the information needed to have a successful visit and deliver steady care. She was quick to adopt my preferences and thoughtful in her inquiries, never bossy. At the end of each of her visits she provides details on feedings, naps, diaper changes and other observations. She is astute in picking up my baby's needs, for example soothing her when she was waking prematurely in order to extend her naps during a sleep regressive period. I continue to work with Amparo whenever the need arises; she is my first call among my list of available sitters. I would highly recommend her for any family in the Bay Area.

$35 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 3 families in San Francisco, CA

Hi all! I’m a recent UC Berkeley graduate, and I’m also very passionate about Education and child-care which is why I’ve been tutoring, mentoring and babysitting for a while. At my most previous job, I worked at a Montessori school where I was an assistant teacher. I developed and implemented lesson plans and curriculum with assistance from Head teacher and learned to create a safe learning environment by establishing classroom rules and ensuring students follow behavioral standards. I love nannying and learning about how every child’s mind is unique. In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, and hanging out with family. I have references and a resume if needed.

Wonderful Babysitter with a Positive Attitude I've had the pleasure of having Amanda as my child's babysitter, and I couldn't be more satisfied. Amanda consistently brings a positive attitude to her work, which instantly puts my child at ease. She's incredibly thoughtful and attentive to my child's needs, always ensuring that they are comfortable and happy. I appreciate how proactive she is in engaging my child in fun and educational activities. Amanda is truly a gem, and I highly recommend her to anyone in need of a reliable and caring .

Zaineb 1 review
Alameda
$20 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in San Francisco, CA

Hello! I am Zaineb and currently a school based social worker. I am offering child care, pet care as well as household services. Ever since I was young, I have loved caring for children whether it was a sibling, older cousin or friend. I have been an educator in the public school system for the last 6 years working with kids from as little as kindergarten to seniors in high school. I enjoy playing games, doing crafts and most importantly, getting to know kids and their interests and hobbies. As a babysitter in the past, I have been responsible for after-school care, cooking meals and putting kids to bed. I am also happy to help out with household tasks like cooking, cleaning and running errands. I can also pet sit; I grew up caring for my family’s cat and currently live with 2 cats. I don’t have a lot of experience caring for other animals but am willing to learn!

Hi, dear family! My name is Evilyn, I am 25 years old and I am from Brazil. I am affectionate, easy going, helpful and energetic. I am certified in First Aid and CPR. Also, I have my California driver's license, so I am available to pick up and drop off children.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
