Hi there! My name is Mariah, I absolutely adore children and have had several years of experience working with ages 4-12. I used to be an art instructor, where I would lead groups of 20-30 children on my own. I would teach an array of talents ranging from basic drawing skills, to clay projects, to acrylic/watercolor painting, to jewelry making, to sewing! I also ran a 5 month long art-centered camp with rotating groups of children, during which I would work 12 hour shifts and our daily schedule consisted of art, tutoring (math/english), enrichment activities (yoga, dancing, music, and other movement experiences), completing one art project each day the students attended the group. I love to mention this because I would greatly enjoy incorporating this flow into the time I spend with your child/children! I would love to work with them to figure out what style of artistic expression they excel most sufficiently within. I also provide an intellectually stimulating while strongly empathetic and nurturing atmosphere.
