San Francisco
$34 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 3 families in San Francisco, CA

Hello! My name is Eva and I am 25 years old. I was born and raised in San Francisco. I come from a big family with 7 siblings with several nieces and nephews and I began babysitting at a young age. I absolutely love being around kids because they bring so much joy and positive energy. For about 2 years, I worked with kids ranging from the ages 5-10 so I learned a lot within that time. I learned how to be patient with them but also having fun with them at the same time. They bring me so much happiness and I always have a good time with them. I also have experience with toddlers and infants. I worked at a daycare for about 1 year and I was usually alone with 4 babies for a while and then 8 toddlers at another time. With the babies I would watch them, feed them, and then put them down for a nap. With the toddlers I mainly watched them play and then fed them snack. I also have previous experience with 2 families that I connected with through UrbanSitter where I would pick the kids up from school, take them to after school activities, take them home, and feed them dinner. I have a love for kids and hope that I continue to work with them in the future. Thank you for taking your time to read this and I am more than happy to answer any questions. :)

Eva has been taking care of my clients’ 14-month-old daughter on a part-time basis since February 2024. Her work has included feeding her, playing with her, driving her to and from Montessori daycare, light housekeeping (such as laundry, dishes, disinfecting toys), bedtime routine, and helping with the family dog. She traveled with the family both domestically and internationally and was such a big help to everyone! Eva listens carefully, takes direction seamlessly, and works proactively to identify and complete tasks. She is a good driver and can be trusted to adhere to parents’ expectations. She has an incredibly calm demeanor and maintains a positive attitude, even when she’s working long days or baby girl is fussy. We recommend Eva to anyone seeking a sitter. Thanks Eva!

San Francisco
$28 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in San Francisco, CA

My name is Helen, and I am interested in the part time nanny or babysitter position with your family. I am Chinese and have been living in San Francisco for 24 years. I speak four languages: English, Cantonese, Mandarin, and Toishanese. Currently, I work as a preschool teacher and have over 18 years of experience working with young children, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. My own child is now grown up, but I still love spending time with children. I would like to use my free time to help families who need childcare. Working with children makes me feel happy and valued. Here are some things about me that I think you might find helpful: 1. Experience with Children: As a preschool teacher in San Francisco, I excel at following children’s interests, creating art projects, connecting them to nature, and developing loose part activities. 2. Safety First: I always make sure children are safe and well-cared for. I am fully vaccinated, recently had a great annual physical exam, and hold a CPR certificate. 3. Fun Activities: I enjoy doing crafts, reading stories, and playing games with children to keep them engaged and happy. 4. Reliable and Trustworthy: You can count on me to be on time and dependable. I am excited about the chance to support your family and help your child. I am happy to discuss your needs and how I can help. I look forward to meeting you and your family.

Helen was a big part of the success of our daughter's wedding. She staffed the child care room so parents could bring their children when they or the children needed a break. Multiple parents told me they would have left much earlier if Helen had not been there. That would have been unfortunate as the kids ruled the dance floor. If we had other child care needs in San Francisco Helen would be our first choice.

$26 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in San Francisco, CA

Hello! I'm Leah, I currently work as an assistant second grade teacher at Marin Country Day School. I graduated SDSU may 2024 with a bachelors degree in elementary education. During my time in college, I worked in a second grade classroom, and would nanny a family with 2 kids on the weekends. Last year, I worked at FSK as an elementary garden teacher, and nannied a two year old and a nine year old weekly. I would describe myself as calm, caring, and positive. I love to hike, run, and be active. Looking for a family to nanny for this Summer!

Leah is wonderful with our toddler. We have now worked with her many times and she is great!

Booked by 3 families in San Francisco, CA

Hi, I’m Giada. I have 8 years of experience caring for children from newborns to teenagers, including: • Newborn and infant care (including overnight care starting at just a few days old and premature baby) • Full-time and live-in nanny positions • Date nights and weekend care • Multiple-children households (up to 3 kids) • Sole-charge care for 2-3 children while parents were on vacation or out of town (24/7 care) I'm experienced with: • Feeding, diaper changes, naps, and sleep routines • Morning and bedtime routines • School drop-off/pick-up and driving to activities • Age-appropriate activities, play, and development • Light household tasks related to childcare • Supporting busy families with scheduling and routines I speak Italian and English and have experience teaching Italian to a 1-year-old through songs, games, and daily activities. I'm certified in Newborn Care, CPR, First Aid & AED (infants and adults), reliable, organized, and very nurturing. I truly love creating a safe, calm, and positive environment where children can thrive. TDAP, Flu and Covid Vaccinations updated.

Giada is amazing and I am so grateful to have her care for our newborn baby! Our little one was born 2 months early and she has been doing overnight care for his first few months of life. Trust is so important when you have such a tiny little one and we sleep at night knowing he’s safe with Giada. This is the best gift. In addition to being amazing with our little one, she also goes above and beyond in other ways. Our laundry is always folded, dishes and counter cleaned, and all of baby’s stuff tidied up. We highly recommend Giada!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
