I’m a born and raised New Yorker where I was a professional nanny for 8 years, ranging from date night sitting to full time nanny and house manager positions for high profile NDA families. My nanny style is creative and caring with Montessori principles. I’m very hands on and active and am a strong swimmer! have experience working with children ages 5 months-17 years old and am comfortable watching up to 6 kids at a time. Skilled with neurodivergent and special needs (specializes in working with ADHD kiddos) I’m a rockstar at baking and cooking including full family meal prep, intricate birthday cakes and homemade baby food (i have kosher experience). I enjoy planning children’s parties and events and as a dog mom im a certified animal lover. CPR and first aid certified and have experience with food allergies (Epi pen trained). While I do have reliable transportation , I am not comfortable driving children. Hi there! I’m Karina, I went to CSUN to become an elementary teacher. Now I’m in the health care field. I am in school to become a RN. I’ve been babysitting for 6 years now, infant to teens. I have both nanny and babysitting experiences. I’m very optimistic and love being able to bring adventure & fun! I have lots of paid experience and professional experience through my internships for schooling. I love being able to do arts and crafts, or going on walks or park visits. I have my own transportation, licensed, vaccinated, CPR certified infant - adult; and very responsible and reliable. Since my availability is during the evening, I am very flexible and can stay later than 12pm.

It makes a huge difference for me. :') Joined Urban Sitter in college and built very long relationships. I work a 9-5 but have flexibility working remotely! Experience: I've been on Urban Sitter for almost 10 years. 😱 Additionally, I have three nephews that are now aged 8, 6 and 10 months. Been a part of every (brick by brick) step for all three of them, and it's been a joy. I really enjoy watching kids grow, especially at 4-6 months when they start getting smiley and laugh-y. Lots of infant and tollder experience...bathing, feeding (formula, frozen breastmilk, solids) naps, bedtime, diapers... When it comes to rules/discipline, I'll honor your requests (screen time, homework, activities, etc). Hopefully needless to say am not physical... when it comes to discipline I'll usually go for avoiding any stressful triggers, distracting, talking through feelings, etc. More about me... in my free time I like to watch movies, read, and practice piano! Currently in a data career pivot where I’m working pretty hard on my laptop during the week, with the benefits of being flexible and remote, and I've really been enjoying it.
