$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Denver, CO

I recently relocated to Colorado from Texas with my husband, following the successful sale of my business. As a mother of four grown children and seven grandchildren, I possess a depth of life experience, I'm eager to emphasize that I'm still young and enthusiastic about the opportunities that lie ahead. Throughout my life, I've been driven by a passion for caregiving, which has encompassed a range of roles, from neighborhood babysitting to supporting my mother with MS and my grandfather after his stroke. I'm excited to offer my services, which encompass a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including household management, cooking, cleaning, and errands. My true passion, however, lies in caring for children, where I can nurture and support their development through engaging activities such as reading, games, and outdoor pursuits. I'm also deeply passionate about nature, wildlife, and gardening, and I take great joy in sharing these interests with my grandchildren and others. With my extensive domestic skills, life experience, and heartfelt approach, I'm confident in my ability to provide exceptional care to your loved ones.

Jennifer was great with our daughter! Very communicative and would highly recommend!

$20 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Denver, CO

Hello! My name is Alison, I go by Ally most of the time and I am a college student at MSU Denver. I offer babysitting services along with small things such as household tasks and errands. I have two younger siblings and a lot of younger cousins I have looked after. I have done pickups and drop offs, driving to various locations, tutored and have done many routines needed for children. I have worked at a Youth Sports League and interacted with many kids during my time there. I loved the job! I love kids as I am an Elementary Education major! Having a good relationship with them is the most important thing for me and having an overall good time while taking care of them. I love dogs but I’m sadly allergic to cats!

Alison was fantastic to work with! Super understanding and flexible when I had to adjust the time to be an even earlier morning. The kids ADORED her and she was so fun - they couldn't stop talking about how much they liked her! Definitely recommend!

Jade Denver
$21 per hour for 1 child

Hi, I'm Jade! I have a lot to say about my experience, as well as a fun fact about me at the end, so please read through this bio! I hold an associate's in Elementary Education, as well as a bachelor's in Anthropology (which I intend to use to become a children's librarian). I have worked in early childcare for about two years altogether, though that isn't counting the babysitting I don't put on my resume from when I was a teen to young adult. I have also tutored throughout college, helping kids grades 2nd-10th with all subjects. I love working with children; it brings me so much joy to bring them joy! I am a bubbly person who enjoys making games to play with all sorts of age groups. I have been told by colleagues that I show great patience with the kids in my care and work well with each child's abilities and interests when teaching new concepts so that those concepts stick. I pride myself in my ability to find a way to explain something in a way that each kid will understand. This goes not only for academic material, but also boundaries, day-to-day necessities, and other safety and health material. My favorite thing about working with kids is when I know I've made a positive impact on them, their development, and their family. I believe that kids are so incredibly smart, and getting along well with just them isn't enough. I know that working with parents and guardians is a crucial step to ensuring quality care. When it comes to pets, I have two cats of my own and have lived with dogs throughout my life. One of my cats is special needs, so I have some experience in learning to understand pets that might not act "normal" to how they normally do. I am a quick learner and do very well with instructions, though I might ask some clarifying questions to ensure everyone's comfort and satisfaction. I have a weird quirk: I love cleaning. I actually like when something gets dirty and I have to work to clean it or figure out a new way to get difficult grime off. I think it's my science-mindedness that keeps me researching the best ways to clean! Fun fact: I am a huge board game nerd! I own over 60 different board games, and I love playing them and discovering new ones! If your family is full of board game enthusiasts, I think we'll get along well :)

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
