A little about me is that I already watch a 5 and 7 year old most of the time that they need a sitter but on my free time take other gigs. I have been watching the 2 boys since they were 3 and 5 so I have experience with toddlers. I also worked for a daycare for 2 years. I got my CPR certification every year since I was 16! I love hanging out with kids and babies as being active in their lives makes a difference! I grew up in a daycare from infant until I was 13 years old (my mom worked there & still does)! So growing up I know what it takes to be there for kids and their needs! I have thought kids to swim as a life guard for a year from ages 2-13. overall, I am good at staying active and teaching kids learning experiences like painting, sports, or educational facts/games! I have babysat for over a total of 5 years now & absolutely love being able to help and clean to take stress off parents! I just paused school for radiology so I am experienced in patient care or sickness awareness too! I have also a background of military of 4 years so I am quick to learn & respond very well in emergency situations too!

Hi! My name is Mackensie, and I am a kid, pet, and people person! I have a Bachelor's Degree, a background in recruiting, aunt to 3 nieces, and 1 nephew. I am currently living with my 2 nieces and their 2 cats (also girls), and one of my first jobs in life was as a babysitter. Some of my favorite souls in the world are kids, and I am the favorite aunt to many. I have a knack for cooking, cleaning, goofy dancing and jokes, singing songs, and of course, dancing to fun music. On the more serious side, I am a natural teacher, an avid reader, keenly organized, possess a calm demeanor, and a haven for those in need of a hug, a chat, or a homemade cookie. I have over 8 years of experience working with children between the ages of newborn and 12 years old, with the majority of my experience being with kids under 5. I have years of experience with infants, multiples, and kids with special needs. With my experience as a daycare teacher, leader of a summer camp, and an infant nanny, I am very well versed in age appropriate activities. I love being creative, doing crafts, being outside, and going for walks. Former employers have described me as patient, kind, willing to learn, and as having a positive attitude. I am willing to help with around the house tasks, and run errands as well.

I have my Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and currently work as a therapist for children to help them navigate the world in developmentally appropriate ways while learning how to regulate and take care of themselves! I have also worked as a nanny on and off for seven years, and worked consistently as a nanny for 3 years. I'm looking to begin transitioning to nannying full time again, as I miss connecting with kids in a more consistent and fun way. When with kiddos we spend our time going to the park or the zoo, doing science experiments, going for hikes, cooking, baking, and trying to engage as much with the world as possible in age-appropriate ways. Playing while encouraging the kid’s passions is the highlight of my days! I am currently a mental health therapist working with kids and teens, and I'm looking to begin my own practice. I'm looking for about 30 hours a week, preferably during the morning/day but I can be flexible! I’m vaccinated, inclusive, and care about the well-being of kids both mentally and physically.
