Hi, I am Colleen! I am a graduate from the University of Denver and current Master's student at VWU, with short-term availability. I began babysitting when I was a freshman in high school, so I have tons of experience. When I began, I obtained red-cross training. Since then, I have been CPR certified through Archbishop Spalding High School. I was recertified for CPR and first aid in July of 2025. I love kids/pets and have much experience with them. For 3 years, I interned at a nature conservancy where I assisted with education and summer camps for young children. If your child needs assistance with online learning or homework, I am happy to help. I have spent time in college working as a part-time nanny/housekeeper. Hi friends! My name is Jo (they/he) and I am an artist, big fan of anything outdoors, and visual arts instructor for kids. During my college years, I worked with kids in various environments: group homes, foster families, and as a personal nanny for 3 different families. After I graduated with my degree in journalism and mass communications, I realized what truly fuels me is getting to help children bloom! For the last 3 years, I have worked with kids age 4-18+ as a visual arts instructor. This has allowed me to connect with the intersections of my own identity. I’ve taught art to non-profits that work with Queer kids, kids with cancer, and kids within the Des Moines Public School system. I currently teach summer camps at the Arvada Center on: Drawing, Eco-Art, Sculpture, and Painting. I would really love to work with a family that would like to include some art lessons/days for the kids. I’m flexible for the next month before I begin subbing full time in Denver.
