Hi there. ! My name is Jake. I am a easy going, down to earth, loving, nurturing care giver. I have looked after little ones ages ranging I habe an associate degree in Child Development from newborns to 8 year olds. I love being around little ones. I also love animals as wel, a clean record and I am also a ACC graduate.

Jacob is so kind and is basically the baby whisperer; my little 9m.o. girl who can be very spirited (read:fussy) calms right down when she’s hanging out with Jake. He’s super flexible with his schedule and communicates well. I recommend him and plan to keep him around as part of our extended family:)

$20 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in Minneapolis, MN

Hi! My name is Gwen and I will be a sophomore at St. Catherines . I have been babysitting for 7 years, caring for up to 4 children at once. I have experience babysitting for ages 1-12. I have recently been coaching recreational gymnastics for ages 4 months to 12 years giving me recent experience with all ages. I am both CPR and first aid certified. Some of my favorite things to do while babysitting are getting out in the sun, doing arts and crafts, and being active. In addition to babysitting I am also available as a driver for activities.

Gwen was great! She was on time, friendly, immediately made friends with our toddler and had great instincts with him. Will definitely hire her again!

Shynece Minneapolis
$19 per hour for 1 child

As a caregiver, the most important part of the job is understanding the family first. Building a strong connection and clear communication with both the parents and children helps create a safe, trusting, and supportive environment. I value open communication everyone should feel heard and understood. I come from a large family and have always been surrounded by children of all ages, from infants just a few months old to cousins in their 30s. This has given me a natural comfort and experience with babies, toddlers, and older children. I'm someone who is not afraid to take initiative or face challenges head-on. I love bringing joy, structure, and care into a child’s day, and I strive to be both helpful and dependable for the family I work with.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
