Booked by 1 family in Minneapolis, MN

Hello! I am a student at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and I am currently looking for babysitting work. I decided that babysitting suits me best, as I have experience caring for my two younger sisters (ages 7 and 9) and my three nieces (ages 2, 3, and 5). I am great with children, I can cook, clean, and safely transport kids to and from activities if needed. I have a lot of energy, so I am always engaged and ready to keep up, and I understand how to handle the emotional ups and downs that children go through. I would love the opportunity to care for your children and I am excited to meet your family!

Sophia was wonderful with our son! He had such a great time with her and can’t wait to see her again. She’s attentive, engaging, and clearly loves what she does. She also went above and beyond by cleaning and organizing some of his toys and play areas, which we truly appreciated. We highly recommend her and would gladly have her back anytime!

Kingsley $20 per hour for 1 child

Hi! My name is Kingsley and I'm a current senior at Macalester College. I have extensive experience working with school-aged children from a wide variety of backgrounds, having been a sailing instructor working individually with special needs children for four years. Drawing on this experience, I tend towards keeping kids active and engaged with outdoor play, but I also love staying indoors with a board game--my most recent obsession is chess! I also have experience pet sitting dogs and small animals. Just no cats please! I'm very allergic, sadly.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
