Emelin 2 reviews
Nueva York
$21 per hour for 1 child

Nanny and babysitter, I bring warmth, patience and professionalism to every moment with the children. I am punctual and I go beyond to ensure that children feel safe, happy and committed. Whether planning fun activities, helping with homework or maintaining a constant routine, I always try to make parents feel completely calm knowing that their children are under my care, I am certified in hha, I have taken care of the elderly and children and newborns.

With their amazing listening and providing skills, Emelin was super aware of her surroundings, super attentive of feeding and the overall care of the children. She has a very positive energy and reflects over on the children! Really reliable as well which I can say when i set her to pick up after the kids, being on time, and was able whenever I needed her! Absolutely amazed by her work and really do recommend her.

$30 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Brooklyn, NY

Hi, my name is Isabel and I have been a nanny/babysitter on/off for about ten years. I am bilingual and fluent in English and Spanish. I love the park and teaching kids new things as well as art. I am able to do some light cleaning and am good with animals as well.

Our little guy (almost 3) is still talking about what a great time he has yesterday with Isabel who came as a backup sitter. So appreciative of her and that they had such a great day ☺️

Booked by 1 family in Brooklyn, NY

I have been babysitting since I was 15, my first job was a mothers helper with a pair of 6 month old twins. Recently the age range I’ve been watching is 2-13. I love art, animals and have a basic understanding of most sports. I have no pet allergies. I prefer to work with one or two families closely so I can build a trusting relationship with the kid(s.) I can do overnights as soon as I’ve met the family and know the kids feel safe with me. I do prefer a days notice but I can be to you within thirty minutes to an hour if you’re in my area. I am also on the Nextdoor app, you can find me and message me there if you prefer. Currently I am not cpr certified but it will be one of the first things I do once nyc opens back up.

Sophia is a great babysitter and very responsible. She has watched my kids since summer 2019. She is always 15-30 minutes early and would make sure I was ready for her to leave when I got home, she never ran out the door. My dog loves her and gets excited when he hears her footsteps. My oldest (12) considers her a friend and goes to her with school and issues with other friends. She is very sweet and caring. She follows my rules about meals, snacks and tv time and tells me anything important from the day. Sadly, we have to let her go because we’re moving but she will be missed and has become a member of our family.

Booked by 1 family in Brooklyn, NY

Caring for children has always been my true passion. With over 15 years of experience in caregiving, I have developed a deep appreciation for nurturing environments that support children’s emotional and developmental growth. As a dedicated and educated professional, I take pride in being a well-rounded caregiver who prioritizes both learning and emotional well-being. My background in early childhood education enables me to incorporate age appropriate, play based learning that encourages curiosity, creativity, and developmental progress. In addition to my experience with infants and young children, I have also worked extensively with preteens and teenagers, allowing me to adapt my approach across various age groups. My background in healthcare has further strengthened my interpersonal skills, instilling in me a strong sense of reliability, professionalism, and compassion. I care for every child with the same attentiveness and dedication I would offer my own. I believe in creating a safe, supportive, and enriching environment where children can thrive. Witnessing them reach developmental milestones is incredibly fulfilling and speaks to the meaningful collaboration between caregiver and family. I would be honored to bring my passion, experience, and commitment to your family, and I look forward to the opportunity to become a valuable part of your caregiving team. Additional off the app references available upon request!

Kadian is amazing and served as our caregiver for two years for our 3 boys as a full-time nanny. When I learned she was joining UrbanSitter and available -- best believe I wanted to book her straight away! She is kind, playful, and loves to keep the kids active. She's punctual, knowledgeable, and a total pro! Kadian was a calming force in a time of mayhem were she first came into our lives  — it was pre-vax pandemic in the winter of 2021 when we welcomed twins, we were undergoing a home renovation, and through it all — she’s rolled with it with her signature unflappable warmth and helped raised our 3 boys for 2+ years.    She has extensive baby nurse and nannying experience with kids of various ages. She’s as superb with babies as she is with my kindergartner.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
