Chloe 1 review
New York
$25 per hour for 1 child

Hi Families!! My name is Chloe I am 23 years old and I am looking to be your sitter. I have been babysitting for over 10 years with experience in ages ranging from 2-14! I’ve also spent four years as a lead camp counselor, where I was responsible for supervising groups, planning activities, and creating a fun, safe, and inclusive environment. Whether it’s keeping toddlers engaged, helping with homework, or organizing creative activities, I aim to make every child feel supported and cared for. In addition to childcare, I also offer cat sitting, pet sitting, and help with general household chores. Families describe me as dependable, attentive, and proactive—I always try to anticipate needs and make parents’ lives a little easier. I take pride in being someone families can truly trust and rely on.

Chloe is very reliable, professional, and capable. She has frequently watched my three kids, and the kids always have a blast. She is very conscientious and keeps the kids occupied. She has also done chores for me around the house, and I have been quite pleased with her work. Highly recommend.

New York
$30 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 3 families in Brooklyn, NY

My name is Joanna and I’m originally from Switzerland, Geneva (bilingual in French and English). I’m 29 years old, graduated from my master’s at NYU in International relations and international law and now work in fashion. I worked as a babysitter for the past 14 years. Since I moved to the US, I worked for many families with 1 to 5 children at the same time, and between the ages of 6 weeks old to 14 years old, in Miami, Los Angeles and New York. I babysat a family with a 6-week-old newborn and his 2-year-old brother, at the same time, for months daily. I also worked for many other families with 3 kids (from 4 to 12 years old) where I had to pick them up from school and play with them or helped them with their homework. I have a younger sister and grew up as the oldest in my family with 6 younger cousins, and grew up babysitting them regularly. I truly miss having my family here and spending time with kids- I love learning from them. I always follow and respect the family and parents’ rules and values. I look forward to meeting you and your family :)

Warm and dependable. A really lovely person and babysitter!

Anita 3 reviews
New York
$30 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Brooklyn, NY

Hello, my name is Anita and I have been a nanny with more than ten years of professional experience. I’m easy going, trustworthy individual and work together with parents very well as a team. I’ll do what I’m asked and I’ll do extra to help ensure the child/children are happy and safe. I take safety to be very important and am always vigilant anywhere we are. We always have a great day either outdoors or indoors depending on the weather. I usually prepare meals and do the laundry for the child/children and tidy up. I’m usually not on my phone/headphones while with children. I received my first dose of COVID-19 vaccine on 4/2/2021 and my second dose on 4/31/21 (Moderna) and my booster shot in December 2021.

Anita started working with us when our son was about 4 months. (He's almost 2 years old now). Anita was great and took very good care of our son, played with him, took him to playgrounds, arranged play dates. She also cooked meals for him, gave him a bath and did his laundry, basically took care of all his needs. She is very friendly and accommodating. She's a wonderful person, and we became good friends and so comfortable. We loved having her but since we moved places we had to say goodbye. I would recommend Anita without any hesitation.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
