Growing up, I babysat siblings, nieces and nephews, and family friends, with my responsibilities including childcare, pet care, transportation, tutoring and more! While attending university, I worked as a nanny and have experience working with infants and children up to the age of 15. During my last semester, I began working as a Registered Behavior Technician, gaining 1 year of experience providing ABA (applied behavioral analysis) therapy to children diagnosed with ASD (autism spectrum disorder) aged 15 months-9 years old. I am grateful for this experience and actively implement ABA techniques when working with all children. I have always loved working with children and feel I have a natural ability to meet kids at their level. I often find that I have learned from them just as much as they learn from me! I've been a counselor at Rock Camp's before as well as a music teacher. I've mainly worked with kids ages 5+. I'm an animal lover and have two cats of my own. I grew up with dogs and have taken care of other friends and relatives animals before. My experience with seniors who need additional care is with my own mother who has MS and I grew up with her having disabilities so I'm very knowledgeable with taking care of older seniors.
