Hello- My name is Sandra. I'm a dedicated, multilingual, and caring babysitter/nanny with a healthcare background that loves to be around children. I am also a Certified Lactation Consultant, and passionate about making the breastfeeding experience as smooth and wonderful as possible for both the parents and the baby. I moved to the U.S., a couple of years ago, to acquire the appropriate licenses needed to further my studies in the Medical field and become a Pediatrician. Having said that, I have worked with many children in clinics and hospitals abroad before and after becoming a licensed general physician in South America. I also have worked as a babysitter for an infant and as a nanny for a family of multiple kids (4 kids in total) simultaneously in NYC, so I have a great idea of what it entails. I’m also a great cook, detail-oriented, organized, and a great planner. To name a few, those are some of the reasons I say your children would be in great hands.

She was amazing with our three boys! She was kind, patient, and engaging, and they had such a great time with her. We would happily recommend her to anyone!

Hi parents, Caring for children is more than just a profession for me, it’s a passion that comes from both experience and motherhood. As a devoted mother of two, I understand firsthand the trust, patience and love it takes to nurture and guide children through every stage of development. With over 10 years of childcare experience, I have had the privilege of caring for children of various ages, helping them grow in a safe, engaging and loving environment. I believe every child deserves individualized care, encouragement, and opportunities to learn through play, exploration and meaningful interactions. My approach is centered around creating a warm and nurturing atmosphere where children feel secure, valued and confident. I take pride in supporting developmental milestones, fostering creativity, promoting positive behavior and maintaining open communication with parents. CPR and First Aid certified which adds an extra layer of reassurance, allowing you, the parent to feel confident that their children are in capable hands. As both a caregiver and a mother, I understand how important it is to find someone who will care for your children with the same level of attention, compassion, and dedication that you would. My goal is to become a trusted extension of your family while helping your children thrive, learn, and create joyful memories every day. I look forward to building meaningful connections with families and providing the loving, dependable care every child deserves.

Aleisha is lovely; punctual, warm, proactive and visibly comfortable communicating as well as interacting with kids.

Hi, my name is Annette! I’ve been a professional nanny for over 15 years, caring for children from newborns through 13 years old. Alongside my professional experience, I’m also a mom to a 4-year-old and a 13-year-old, which gives me an even deeper understanding of what families need and value in childcare. While being a nanny is my profession, it’s also something I genuinely love. Being present for children, supporting their growth, and helping them feel safe and supported is what drives me. As a parent, I truly understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your child — you’re trusting them with the most important part of your life. I treat every child in my care as if they were my own. My role is to keep them safe, nurture them, and build trust so they know I’m there for them when their parents can’t be physically present. I approach every family relationship as a partnership. We all rely on each other, so open communication and transparency are very important to me. I’m here to support your parenting style, not overstep boundaries — I’d want the same respect when it comes to my own children. My goal is to provide stability and peace of mind, and I hope every family I’ve worked with would agree that I do just that. Fun fact about me: I’m the mother of a daughter with a cochlear implant (she was born with profound hearing loss). Through that journey, I’ve developed a lot of patience and hands-on speech therapy skills, which I also bring into my work as a nanny. As the saying goes — it takes a village! I look forward to working with new families and reconnecting with past families as well. 💛

Annette was very personable and warm. She provided updates hourly and both of my kids loved her :) I felt very at ease with Annette and we are looking forward to working with her again!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
