I studied music therapy at Berklee College of Music with an emphasis on early childhood development and child psychology. While working towards my degree, I taught in the two year old and three year old programs in a local preschool, and served as the music director at a Boston Gymboree. I am a huge believer in child-led play, respectful discipline, and nourishing the imagination. So I can choose whether or not I want to proceed with the job. I do want to protect my other families that I work with as well as myself & mine.🚨 If you cancel last minute, you agree to pay half of the total pay amount agreed. Hello- My name is Sandra. I'm a dedicated, multilingual, and caring babysitter/nanny with a healthcare background that loves to be around children. I am also a Certified Lactation Consultant, and passionate about making the breastfeeding experience as smooth and wonderful as possible for both the parents and the baby. I moved to the U.S., a couple of years ago, to acquire the appropriate licenses needed to further my studies in the Medical field and become a Pediatrician. Having said that, I have worked with many children in clinics and hospitals abroad before and after becoming a licensed general physician in South America. I also have worked as a babysitter for an infant and as a nanny for a family of multiple kids (4 kids in total) simultaneously in NYC, so I have a great idea of what it entails. I like participating in outdoor activities and taking long walks at the park. I love the site of a child smiling. I have experience with children from the age of 3 weeks and above. I'm able to multitask and have no problem feeding, bathing, changing, and going to doctor's appointments. In addition to that I'm able to deal with fevers and caring for an ill child. My experience with children at a very young age. I've worked in a day care and have been able to gain so much patience and understanding of a child's needs and dealing with a noisy environment and the ability to settle things ****policies***** Any cancellations less then 48 hours will be charged a 75% off of the hours booked, including if the job has already started I book my schedule 2-3 weeks in advance And I expect to be paid for the entire booking

I am currently working as a paralegal for the New York City Law Department. I have been working with kids since I was 15 and have loved it ever since. I started off by working as a camp counselor. Over the last few years I have worked as a nanny full-time, part-time and occasionally. I have also worked as an assistant teacher at the Brooklyn Preschool of Science.
