Beverly $23 per hour for 1 child

I raised 5 of my own children, 4 boys and 1 daughter, from birth to adulthood. I also have 2 granddaughters 5 and 7 years old. I have lots of patience, tons of energy for many activities children love to do, and a lot of love and caring to give. Children are such a blessing and a great joy. I will always carry out your wishes for your family because you have sacrificed, and your role and wishes are very important. I do really love animals, and I have cared for two dogs, cats, rabbits, and birds, that were part of my family. If someone asked me what I would do, if their child did not do as they were asked while I was caring for them on a babysitting job, I would tell them… I would like to have had a conversation with the parents before they left their children in my care, as to how they wanted me to handle that situation. I would like to follow what the parents wishes are, because you cannot make a child do anything. although you can make the parents happy by following their wishes. I have had two previous jobs working with seniors in the past. The first one was mostly companionship, but I also cooked, took her to appointments and to run errands, we would also go walking for a little exercise, and to keep her agile and able to have balance and strength. She had great stories that I would listen to, and we would connect over them… she was a great lady. The second job was working with a gentleman who needed driving to appointments, grocery stores and to the gym. He had macular degeneration so he could see, but not enough to drive. I was very patient and understanding with him, as he did suffer from some age related dementia (he was in his early 90s). I would help him with household cleaning, chores and companionship, he liked to share his life over lunch that I would prepare for him. I also helped him with his finances and writing checks to pay his bills. He was very spunky and entertaining, and he liked to talk about his life when his wife was still alive.

Alina $28 per hour for 1 child

Hi, my name is Alina. I’m 25 years old and I have two years of full-time experience caring for two wonderful little girls, ages 2.5 and 4. I took care of them every day — feeding them, helping them learn new things, creating games and fun activities, and making sure they were safe and happy. I also taught them basic skills and good manners, and kept a routine that helped them feel secure. I loved building a close, trusting relationship with the family until they moved to another state. I’m friendly, patient, and communicative, and I really enjoy connecting with children and helping them feel comfortable and confident. I like bringing creativity into everything I do, and my training in floral design and creative arts helps me make activities more fun and inspiring. I’m fluent in English and Russian, and I’m responsible, dependable, and always focused on creating a positive, caring atmosphere for kids.

Daniela $18 per hour for 1 child

Hi there I hope we can match and work together. I’ve been working with different families for the last 7 years and I hope my experience can help a new family.I love spending time with kids! and have worked primarily with infants and toddlers. I also speak Spanish, I’m very responsible, organized and I love cooking! If you're interested in having fresh food for your kids. I completed a week of first aid training during my au pair program which has helped me through various panics these years when the children have choked on food. I was recently working with a wonderful family (for two and a half years) unfortunately I was driving several hours a day due to traffic for my commute and I couldn't continue working for them so at the moment I'm available full time.

Quessandra $22 per hour for 1 child

I bring over a decade of experience in healthcare and public safety—ranging from hospital settings to transit systems—where I’ve always prioritized community care. I’ve been a head coach for a women’s rugby team, a coach for Washington Special Olympics, and a certified personal trainer. I also hold an expired CNA license and continue to bring that same level of care to everything I do. When I’m not working I’m behind the camera as a freelance photographer. Above all else, I promise to bring safety, reliability, and compassion when caring for your loved ones. Let’s chat and see how I can support your family!

Amberly $22 per hour for 1 child

I am a 36 year old mother of 4 ages 7, 10, 18 and 19. In addition to parenting my own children, I have worked in social/human services my whole life. Starting out as a camp counselor in my teenage years leading years, then onto daycares, school assistants and peer counseling. Most recently i worked with children and families who suffer from mental illness and behavioral issues in and outside of the home-in the school and juvenile detention centers. I also have experience working with the elderly and disabled. And my beautiful ten year old has Asperger’s syndrome. I also make a great home assistant. My cooking is excellent and I keep a very clean and organized space at all times. I don’t mind running errands or transporting as needed. Pets are fine outside of my home. I am looking for part time primarily but could potentially do full time depending on the hours and situation.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
