At 16 started working part time as a helper at a daycare center. I was a principal of the same daycare for 2 years and now a full time nanny looking for babysitting opportunities. I've worked with kids of all ages, I am infant qualified and know CPR and first aid. I am a mother of 3. my daughter is 18 and my son is 6 and my other daughter is 2. my parents did foster care when I was younger, so I was exposed to all sorts of people and kids. I babysat for years, worked at a daycare and helped with many kids programs in my area and community. I love to be silly and creative.

I have my own vehicle and a clean driving record if transportation should be necessary. Pets are not a problem. I will happily feed, water, walk, brush, play with and/or check-in on your animals. I am fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID (and a bunch of other stuff). I am clean and keep hand sanitizer with me. I am also certified in Basic, Advanced, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. I am open to light housekeeping duties, and I don't mind meal prep or cooking. Most people enjoy my cooking and I am health conscious and creative, but certainly respect that some children may have limited food preferences and/or allergies and I am willing to work within those limitations. Hello my name is Meg. I have 15+ years of baby sitting, 5 years of teaching, and 10 years of pet experience. I have worked with children from the age of infancy to 14. I have a degree in ECE and some SPEDU credits, but have decided to go back to college to change my major and become a child psychologist. I loved working with my students in a classroom setting, but feel that my skills are more necessary to help children develop individually. At this moment my availability is very flexible so take advantage of it while you can!

I am a Portland native and I worked as a teacher for 4 years. I graduated with my BA from Lewis & Clark College and earned my MAT at the University of Portland. I am currently a volunteer on the board of a nonprofit and am starting up a small online business with an old friend. I enjoy soccer, hiking, singing with my gospel choir, teaching Girl Scouts how to sew, and I’m currently renovating a vintage Airstream. I started baby-sitting as a ten-year-old, and have since worked with children of all ages. Most of my experience is with elementary school age kids, but I love babies and toddlers as well.
