About this babysitting job
We’re looking for a babysitter for our two children (ages 3.5 and 1.5) approximately 1–2 times per month. We’d really love to find someone who can become a familiar, dependable sitter for our family. Most evenings would be fairly short (around 2 hours), typically on a Thursday or Friday. Occasionally, we’d like to have a longer date night on a Friday or Saturday, especially if we go into Chicago. Those would generally be around 5:00 PM–12:00 AM at the latest, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable staying later when needed. Our kids are generally easygoing, social, and love meeting new people! They eat dinner around 5:30 PM and go to bed between 7:00–8:00 PM. We don’t do a lot of screen time, so we’d love someone who enjoys playing, reading, and engaging with them during their evening routine.
