About this babysitting job

We’re hosting our annual Halloween party and looking for two fun, energetic, and responsible sitters to help keep the kids entertained and activities organized! We’ve hosted this party for several years and traditionally hire two sitters through UrbanSitter. It’s always a fun evening, with parents on-site throughout the party. What we’re looking for: * Help supervise and entertain approximately 10–20 kids, ages 9–16 (depending on RSVPs). * Organize a few fun activities, including a Halloween costume contest, music, and games. * Keep an eye on the younger kids while the older teens mostly socialize independently. * Help ensure everyone is having a good time and things run smoothly. * For the last three years the Nannys have spent less time with kids and more party help. All the parents are there too so you will have support. A few additional details: This is a family-friendly Halloween party, and parents will be present the entire evening. The older kids are largely self-sufficient, so the focus is primarily on helping the younger children have fun. We’d love sitters who are willing to get into the Halloween spirit and wear a costume! Nothing elaborate is necessary, and we have some unused wigs and accessories available if needed. We’re looking for someone friendly, engaging, and comfortable managing group activities.
