Date: November 22, 2026 Hours: 10:00 AM – 11:00 PM Location: Sanford, FL (home → ceremony → potential return to Home) Compensation: Competitive full‑day rate $450; commensurate with experience We are seeking a highly dependable, patient, and experienced caregiver to provide full‑day support for our two children on the day of our wedding. This role requires attentiveness, professionalism, and the ability to maintain a calm, structured environment throughout an extended schedule. Children: • 6‑year‑old (autistic): Primary focus; requires consistency, patience, and understanding of sensory and behavioral needs. • 2‑year‑old (neurotypical): Energetic and easygoing; will also require general supervision and care. Position Overview: The caregiver will remain with the children during wedding preparations at our home, accompany them to the ceremony (approximately a 15‑minute drive), and assist with their transition into the designated kids’ room at the reception venue. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, emotional steadiness, and strong experience supporting children with special needs. Responsibilities: • Provide continuous, attentive supervision throughout the day • Support transitions between home, ceremony, and reception • Maintain a calm, structured, and reassuring environment • Offer patient, individualized care for a child with autism • Communicate with parents and coordinate with additional caregivers as needed • Ensure the children remain safe, comfortable, and engaged Requirements: • Prior experience working with children with special needs (autism preferred) • CPR/First Aid certification strongly preferred • Reliable transportation • Ability to manage a long, structured day with professionalism • Punctual, dependable, and composed under varying circumstances
