I have a lifetime of experience working with children. I’ve been babysitting regularly since I was old enough, have worked as a full-time nanny, and have extensive understanding of childcare and learning through my mother, who runs a preschool in Connecticut. I’ve worked at her school directly and have also held several long-term babysitting and nannying positions, with kids ranging from infants through 12-year-olds. I’m also a freelance designer, so my schedule is flexible! I’m high-energy, ebullient, and genuinely love to play—why shouldn’t it be fun for both of us? I was raised around Reggio Emilia principles (my mom is Bank Street–educated, and I went to a Reggio school myself), and those ideas have deeply shaped how I think about children, learning, and play. I aim to be someone kids feel excited to spend time with and parents feel completely confident trusting—curious, attentive, and genuinely invested in making each day engaging, supportive, and fun. Hello! I'm Brooklynn, a freshman at NYU Tisch. I've been working with kids for 1-2 years now, but I've been taking care of my baby cousins since I was in middle school. I love music, watching movies, reading, cooking, and baking! I am willing to do whatever house care and cooking you need, but running errands might be a little tricky for me to do. I also have 3 dogs at home and am very familiar with their care! If you have any other animals, I am willing to do my research beforehand. The one animal I cannot be around is a guinea pig because I am allergic.

Hi! I am 24 years old and a recent graduate of NYU Steinhardt’s Master in Musical Theatre. Growing up I babysat for family friends often, ages ranging from under 1 to 11 years old. My two favorite people in the world are my niece and nephew who are the most inquisitive,energetic, and kind little humans. I love being able to nurture curiousity while caring for kids. I studied at a traditional Italian restaurant in Siena for two months, and my Italian mother taught me everything she knows! I can cook and meal plan for a big family as well as a small household. I love when kids come to show because they are so excited and ask so many questions and are absolutely the most fun audience members. We often have school groups ranging from preschool to high school and engaging with the students and their questions is one of the most fun aspects of my job. I do not have a car but I do have a valid driver’s license and can take the train.
