Hello, I'm Sofia! Currently working with a lovely family helping care for their infant daughter (and young doggo!). I completed studies at USF in 2019 with my major in Critical Diversity Studies, and a minor in Legal Studies. I have been a family helper/nanny for over 13 years with children ranging in the ages of newborns to teenagers. I also have worked with six separate families with infant twins, one of which were preemies. I have an excellent driving record in case you are in need of help that requires me to drive. I am a huge animal lover as well, so if you have any pets, I am open to help care for them as well such as walking and feeding them, etc. Currently open to part time work: 1-2 days a week and/or date night help. Hi! I’m a 29-year-old recent medical school graduate with a deep love for caring for others, especially kids. I graduated from the University of San Francisco and have spent time working at UCSF in cancer research, as well as building a nonprofit organization that I’m incredibly passionate about. I’ve had several years of hands-on experience working with children of all ages, including those with medical complexities. I’ve supervised up to 15 kids at a time while directing a summer science camp, provided consistent after-school care, and worked closely with families over multiple years. I also spent three years working at a tutoring center, so I’m very comfortable helping with homework and learning activities. I have 6 siblings and spent a lot of my childhood learning to care for, feed, clean, maintain, upkeep, entertain, and provide aid to all of my siblings. Hi there, I’m Kaelyn! After taking a break from UrbanSitter to work with families independently, I’m excited to reconnect with this amazing community. I’ve lived in San Francisco since 2017 and earned my B.S. in Molecular Biology from the University of San Francisco in December 2020. Now, I work full-time as a Program Manager in the biotech industry (specifically the research side of molecular diagnostics) I’ve been babysitting since I was 2011, starting with family friends’ children & gaining experience throughout HS, College, and Post Grad with a wide variety of ages & number of children, experience with 3mo–12 yrs and 1-3 children. As well over the years, I’ve gained extensive childcare experience, including five summers as a camp counselor at Rawhide Ranch, a Western horse camp in San Diego. As a counselor for 5-12 children a week, between children 7-15. There, I assisted with meals, cabin life, teaching classes, and creating a fun, positive environment for campers. In 2019, I worked as an Au Pair in Madrid, caring for two wonderful girls (ages 8 and 11). I loved teaching them English and forming a lasting bond with their family. Childcare has always been a passion of mine. Whether babysitting or tutoring in science and math, I enjoy engaging with kids through games, songs, and creative activities. Hello! I’m seeking date-night, weekend and part-time sitting. Flexible schedule during school breaks and holidays! I coach preschool/ recreational gymnastics and support our camp program in Emeryville. I’m one of 7 kids and have 6 nieces & nephews! I completed my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology with a K-12 School Counselor credential from USF. I’ve been an educator for over 20 yrs working as a teacher, school counselor, coach, tutor and nanny. My childcare experience started at age 12 as sitter in my neighborhood and watching my younger siblings. I provided part-time and full-time nannying, evening sitting, emergency/ back-up care and on-going sitting in the Bay Area, (Boston, MA), (Austin, TX), and my home state of Michigan.
