Hello! 9/25/2026 - Currently seeking a PT family, ideally in the East Bay (Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda, Emeryville, etc) ~24hrs - 3 full days! (2 full days works too!) I'm Linda — a trained classical singer, Montessori-informed, and 10-year nanny who genuinely loves the kiddos! I love their hilarious personalities, and believe the care and attention we give them early on shapes everything they become. (Most experience with infants and toddlers) SF native now located in North Oakland, I hold a BA from UC Davis alongside child development coursework — and I'm inspired in my work by Helen Keller and Anne Sullivan, who remind me that nurturing a child's full potential through care, structure, and encouragement is everything. My approach is firm but loving: building trust through warmth, calm guidance, and patience — guiding behavior thoughtfully rather than relying heavily on "no." Two of my ten years were spent caring for twins from infancy to toddlerhood, so I'm well practiced at juggling many demands at once! Infant care is where I feel most at home — sleep training, bottle feeding, gas relief, intro to purees & solids, BLW, tummy time, baby milestone developments, fine and large motor skills, administering medicine, and more. I am vaccinated for COVID, TDAP, and MMR, and CPR-certified for children and infants. I thrive in a collaborative nanny-parent partnership built on trust, open communication, and mutual respect — keeping parents connected through regular updates, photos, and texts, and adapting to each family's unique values and rhythms. My primary role is as a nanny, with a strong focus on nurturing each child's development and growth. I am not seeking a combined nanny + housekeeping/mother's helper position — though I'm open to extra non-child related tasks (clearly set & agreed upon) at a higher rate.* I also love incorporating music into childcare and offer beginner voice lessons! In my 20s I worked for a Bay Area nonprofit that I still volunteer with today. Contract agreements required for jobs 4+ wks. (Just so we're both on the same page on everything :) ) 3hrs booking or less ($120 flat). Same-day cancellations charged in full.

***Update: Please message me for availability- the calendar on here is rarely updated. Thank you! :-) ************************************************************** Hello! I'm a Bay Area native and I was a childcare provider and nanny for over 10 years in San Francisco before I began my teaching certification program. I really enjoy working with families and still keep in close contact with the last family I worked with. In the past, I've also worked for the Y.M.C.A. as a coach and teacher for children in their camp program. I love doing arts and crafts activities, and going on outside adventures with kids to parks, museums (California Academy of Sciences is a great one!), and libraries. Most of my past jobs working with families were referrals from other families I worked with, so this is my first time using an online site to apply for positions. My certifications are in Special Education EC-12th grade, E.S.L. EC-12th grade, English Language Arts and Reading 7th-12th grade, and General Education EC-6th grade. While working on my credential I completed internship hours in an elementary school classroom working with children on the Autism Spectrum. My experience in the internship was so inspiring that I decided to make Special Education a focus in teaching. I'm taking this semester off from teaching so I’m mostly tutoring, but also available for occasional babysitting. I really enjoy babysitting because it gives me the opportunity to be creative, no matter what age the child is, with play and learning activities. As an Educator, I am passionate about incorporating play into education to make learning accessible for every child. My schedule isn’t usually updated on the app, so please feel free to send me a message inquiring about a date. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you! Sincerely, Reese
“Reese was fantastic with our three-year-old and really came through for us in a pinch. She was prompt, communicative and proactive, he was so happy to see her and had a great time. Would definitely recommend Reese and hire her again!”
Hello families! ¡Hola, Familias! I am Paula (or Pau). I was born and raised in Colombia; I moved to the US in 2014 as an Au Pair (live-in nanny). I worked with two families in two different cities and have remained a nanny ever since. Some of the things I love are music, spending time outdoors, animals, hiking, dancing, swimming, and reading. My experience with kids began when I was 10. I come from a huge family, so I've been around kids my whole life. I am very energetic and creative so I like to come up with different activities age-convenient outside and inside the house, I have worked with kids of all ages including twins, newborns and toddlers; I love to spend time with kids, I like to play with them and teach them new things (like Spanish) and I think that security is the key to proper development for the kids so my primary goal is to make kids feel safe to play and learn and have fun of course! If you have any questions/or you don't see availability in my calendar, please feel free to message me. Hablo español porque soy de Colombia. Si tiene dudas, preguntas o peticiones, por favor no dude en enviarme un mensaje, con mucho gusto le atiendo.
