Hello, I have recently moved to San Francisco. I was a nanny in San Diego for many years while I loved there and am currently looking to find a weekend position so I can continue my passion. Please note I do ask for a 4 hour minimum for a one-time job and an added $50/per day for holidays.

I’m from Brazil and I speak Portuguese and English fluently. I’m very responsible and proactive, I tend to fix things as I go instead of being asked to do it. I have a CPR certificate and First Aid Training. I play the ukulele and I’m also a certified Music Together teacher, I legit sing ALL THE TIME. If you’re into music we’ll definitely get along! Hi all, My name is Mmadi! (Yes, with two M’s! Lol) I am a 30 year-old alumna of California State University - Sacramento, where I earned a degree in Business Communications and Marketing with a minor in Africana studies. I come from a large Nigerian family and I’m the second of five children. Growing up, my mother, who is a labor and delivery nurse, taught me everything there is to know about infant and child care and development. I worked full-time as a professional nanny from 2020 to 2024. When I began with the family, they had a 3-month-old. During my tenure, I also cared for their second child who was born in 2023, raising both until my departure. I have a wealth of experience in babysitting my younger siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews, and family friends. In addition, I have taught Sunday school and independently managed the children's day care at my church for almost nine years. Taking care of 5-10 children every Sunday ranging from newborns to 10 years old in age. During my time in college, I completed numerous child development and psychology courses. I also have a basic understanding of the Spanish language, having taken three years of it in high school. I have my Bachelors degree from San Francisco State as well as my teaching credential and Masters in Education from Notre Dame de Namur University. I am a full-time middle school teacher in the Peninsula. I work closely with children from 5th - 8th grade. In my other past experience working with kids, my duties included preparing snack time and activities such as arts and crafts, science, and music. I also love to spend time outdoors and play games with younger children! I have a handful of nieces and nephews, so I am very comfortable with looking after the younger ones.
