I could pick up hours at my current job but I’m seeking the ability to spend time and make a difference one on one. I am kind, responsible, and hard working. What I’m not looking for is the pressure of patient ratio’s, massive charting, rushing through care for the sake of the almighty dollar.

Hello! I'm Bec and I am a graduate of Northwestern University. I grew up in Seattle and returned to the PNW to get my MFA in creative writing; I now teach college English classes. I spent my years at Northwestern teaching drama classes in the Chicagoland area and working with Seesaw Theatre, an arts advocacy group that creates one-on-one sensory immersive theatre for kids with autism and other developmental disabilities (I then worked with a similar group in NYC for three years). I nannied for a crew of elementary schoolers, and eventually a toddler sibling as well, for four years. Between teaching drama classes, babysitting, nannying, teaching swim lessons, and working at a childcare center in high school, I have worked with kiddos from three months old to eighteen years old! In my free time I write, read, and make theatre.
