***Only in town for a few weeks visiting my parents :) This is also why I don’t have many recent reviews since I no longer live here, but I still work full-time in childcare where I live! Hi! My name is Alex, I’m 26 years old and was born and raised in San Francisco. I have over 13 years of experience working with children of all ages, including children with disabilities. I have a bachelors degree in psychology and am in my final year of my master’s in clinical social work now. In addition to working several years as a babysitter and nanny, I also currently work at a preschool and have also worked at a sleepaway camp, an orphanage, and a children’s museum, so I’m very comfortable caring for kids in different environments and with different needs. In addition, I’m a certified medic and volunteered on an ambulance for three years, so safety is always a top priority for me. I’m responsible, patient, fun, and genuinely love working with kids.

Alex is a great sitter. She’s a perfect balance of fun and responsible. she has an enjoyable optimistic energy that my daughter loved. I would recommend her to any parent. 😀👍👍

Hi! I’m Fernanda 😊 I have 7+ years of childcare experience working with infants and school-age children. My experience includes two years as an au pair, as well as working as a full-time nanny, in nanny shares, and as a babysitter. I speak both English and Spanish and enjoy creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children can feel comfortable, stay engaged, and have fun. I love planning activities such as arts and crafts, reading, imaginative play, going to the park, music, dancing, and age-appropriate learning activities that keep children engaged and active. Families describe me as patient, dependable, responsible, and easy to communicate with. I enjoy building strong relationships with both children and parents and have worked with several families long-term. I’m CPR certified and fully vaccinated, including Tdap and COVID-19. I’m comfortable helping with meal prep, bath time, bedtime routines, light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining daily routines. I’m also a huge animal lover and very comfortable around pets. I’m currently available for part-time childcare, occasional babysitting, date nights, and weekends. I look forward to connecting with your family! Note: Cash is preferred whenever possible. Thank you!

Fernanda is an incredible babysitter and nanny. She’s very passionate about her work, trustworthy, caring, and dependable. My son absolutely loves her. Her ability to manage different situations with patience and calmness really stands out, and she creates a safe, warm, and fun environment for kids. She’s also very attentive, responsible, and easy to communicate with. Any family would be lucky to have her.

My name is Marta!Love kids and enjoy spending time with them.I have a lots of experience working with different ages, started as an au pair, was taking care of twins, and then worked as a preschool teacher for 10 years, ages from 1 till 5 years old. Love doing activities with kids outside, different crafts and projects, visiting museums

Before we relocated from San Francisco, Marta was our son’s nanny for over 2 years starting from when he was 6 months old. Marta looked after our son and another little boy during this time as part of a nanny share, and developed a close bond with both boys and their families. Marta is one of the kindest and most responsible people I have ever met. She has a gift with children and is a true carer and educator. She is incredibly dedicated to the children she cares for and she is always 100% focused on them. She understands children and knows how to build trust quickly. Marta was an incredible support to our family and was always there when we needed her. It has been a privilege having Marta in our lives. Knowing that such an amazing person was looking after our child was a huge blessing for us. We remain in contact with Marta since moving back home to Sydney, Australia and miss her dearly. I’m very happy to discuss any questions you might have, so please feel free to reach out to me.

I am a 32 year old career nanny living in Sacramento. I study yoga, reiki, sex education, and trauma prevention/recovery. I am a very creative person - I love to design jewelry, make collages, and do lots of other arts and crafts! I also love walks and playing with my dogs. I am reliable, flexible, energetic, and caring. I come from a family full of artists and teachers. My mother owns a preschool in Sacramento where I volunteered from age 12-18. I spent my summer vacations throughout my middle school and high school years nannying for local families in my neighborhood. I also did a lot of evening and weekend babysitting jobs. When I graduated high school, I became a full time nanny. I have always loved children and still have great relationships with every family I have worked for. I consider myself to be very lucky to have a job where I get to play, laugh, get creative, and explore with children! I have loved being able to watch them grow and guide them on their way to becoming young adults. Some of the activities I enjoy doing with children include playing outdoors, reading, making arts and crafts, singing, dancing, playing games, and of course, teaching them new things! I am not a huge fan of electronics - I try to keep screen time to a minimum. I have experience working with children of all ages and abilities. I have worked with newborns, premature babies, multiples, kids with developmental disabilities, as well as children with severe food allergies. I have a clean driving record and have been driving since 2011. I am comfortable driving your car and regularly rent GIG cars. I am comfortable driving children as well as parents. I am willing to run errands for the families I work with. I am comfortable with meal prep and light housekeeping, as well. I would say that I am comfortable with pets, but that is an understatement! I adore animals almost as much as I adore children. I am also an experienced pet-sitter/house-sitter. I’m fully vaccinated against covid-19 and therefore have gone back to going places unmasked, using public transportation, and only testing when I have symptoms or have recently been near someone that has tested positive. I wear masks around people that ask me to and am always respectful of their choices. I have taken a few early childhood development classes and am CPR and First Aid certified. I have extra references available upon request.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
