I'm have recently started teaching at a preschool in the city. I feel so fortunate to have my dream job. In the past I have been a nanny, sitter, and tutor for many families. I am currently sitting on occasion. One of my most rewarding experiences has been teaching a child how to read. I like to be an active babysitter. To me this means minimal screen time and lots of different activities with the kids, such as, storytelling, building forts, drawing, and cooking/baking lessons. Outside of babysitting, I enjoy cooking, and reading (especially Historical Fiction and Non-fiction). I also love to draw and paint. My best/ideal Sunday (pre-Covid) usually starts with yoga and the Farmer's Market, and ends with a dinner party where I cook for all my closest friends. I have babysat for children outside of family/ family friends for about eight years. My most extensive babysitting/ nannying experience lasted about two years. I was a full time nanny for a little boy, and also helped prepare his slightly older sister for school and picked her up at the end of the day. I usually made breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the children and cared for them almost full time during the summer months. There were times when I cared for the children full time/ overnight when both parents were away/ traveled for work reasons. I have also traveled with families for holidays. I require full payment in case of a cancellation after I have accepted a sitting invitation.

Hi, my name is Oumaima. I'm 28 years old and I'm originally Italian. I consider myself a very reliable, patient and happy person. :) I truly enjoy spending time with kids so that makes my job a lot easier to do, I do love teaching them new things and be able to help them improve their skills. I have worked with children of all ages for the past 5years (newborns- 12/15yo) so I know how to handle a workload and be on top of the situation at all times.  I am a very energetic and outgoing person who enjoys outdoors activities and sports.  With the previous kids i worked with, we enjoyed going to the library together and read in italian/english; go to music classes, as well as gymnastic and yoga classes. If the situation allowed it we would spend the day at the museum or have playdates with our little friends at the park, of course,  depending on the age of the children activities tend to vary but i'm sure we'll find something exciting and fun to do! Previous experiences also include -sleep training  -introduction to solid food/finger food  -potty training  -laundry wash/fold  No need to mention that maintaining some sort of order in the house at all times and help with light housekeeping/meal prep. if necessary is totally fine and understandable; obviously my goal as a nanny is to provide the best environment possible for both the children and the parents.  My first language is italian but I also speak english, spanish and arabic. Hi! My name is Vanessa. I was born in Colombia. I’m 28 years old and I used to me a teacher. I’m offering my services as a caregiver, pet care, senior care and housekeeping. I always like working with kids, since I was a little girl. Back in my country, I study to become a teacher and work with different kids as a teacher and assistant on my internship. I was in charge of feeding the babies, changing dipper from the toddlers, create several activities like sensory games and listening exercise for the toddlers and babys. When I got my degree, I started with older kids. It was more like planning activities according to the subject that the principal assign me. I connect with most kids, I’m funny, responsable, reliable and tolerante. I enjoy doing art, science projects, walks around the park, playing basketball and baking. I’m pretty good at board games too. I grew up with pets my whole life. In my country, I have 12 cats and 2 dogs. I have experience taking care of parrots too, because my aunt have one and we do the feeding together and changing the newspaper. I’m comfortable with all kinds of pets, but my experience is with small pets like poodles or pugs.
