I babysat for years, worked at a daycare and helped with many kids programs in my area and community. I love to be silly and creative.

Hello my name is Meg. I have 15+ years of baby sitting, 5 years of teaching, and 10 years of pet experience. I have worked with children from the age of infancy to 14. I have a degree in ECE and some SPEDU credits, but have decided to go back to college to change my major and become a child psychologist. I loved working with my students in a classroom setting, but feel that my skills are more necessary to help children develop individually. I enjoy soccer, hiking, singing with my gospel choir, teaching Girl Scouts how to sew, and I’m currently renovating a vintage Airstream. I started baby-sitting as a ten-year-old, and have since worked with children of all ages. Most of my experience is with elementary school age kids, but I love babies and toddlers as well. My childcare experience began in high school, where I spent my junior and senior years nannying a toddler with fetal alcohol syndrome. It was some of the most challenging, yet rewarding, work I’ve ever done. Since then, I’ve cared for children ranging from infants to middle schoolers. I also worked closely with special needs students in high school—participating in P.E. classes, supporting talent shows, and building strong, inclusive friendships.
