Additionally, I am patient, kind and caring towards children and able to communicate effectively with them. Lastly, safety is always my top priority when it comes to looking after children and will ensure that they are always in good hands. Some of my hobbies consist of going to the gym, playing soccer, and hanging with my friends and fam. I love staying active and being outdoors! Id love to connect! Vanessa has been a wonderful family assistant for our household. She is incredibly reliable, punctual, and consistent, which has made a huge difference in keeping things running smoothly. From the beginning, she has been steady, trustworthy, and easy to communicate with. Vanessa brings a calm, capable presence and handles responsibilities with care and professionalism. Whether it’s helping with schedules, transportation, or general household support, she follows through and can always be counted on. It is such a relief to have someone who is dependable and takes pride in doing things well. She has been a real asset to our family, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible, stable, and supportive family assistant.

$35 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 4 families in San Francisco, CA

I come from a big family where I grew up surrounded by babies and children, when my passion for child development began. I have dedicated the last 9 years working as a professional nanny and I constantly take classes to improve the way I work. I'm a Newborn Care Specialist and I focus on the care of newborns, infants and toddlers. My goal as a nanny is to support parents with the transition into parenthood and work together to raise confident, independent, and happy children. I'm very patient and caring. I turn routine into something fun. I'm punctual, flexible, and very organized. I'm passionate about what I do. The last families I worked with full time (and long term) are very satisfied with my work and happy to give you a good feedback about me. I have experience with sleep training (gentle methods), solid food introduction, potty training and everything that helps them to archive their milestones and their social development. Currently open for short term contracts.

Lana was excellent. I was nervous about having someone I didn't know but she was so great with our baby. She was on time, picked up after herself and the baby, and seemed very comfortable with kids. I've already invited her back.

Hi parents! My name is Yulan. I have 3 years of babysitting experience and a clean driving record. I’ve cared for children of all ages, starting from 3 months old, including those who are sick. I’m also happy to help with pets — walking dogs, feeding them, and more. I’m fully vaccinated, in good health, and can wear a mask if preferred. I’m reliable, responsible, and available for school pick-ups and drop-offs. I can also cook and prepare meals for children. Sometimes I help doing kids laundry as well. I also specialize in evening and date-night babysitting — helping parents enjoy their time out while I make sure everything at home stays calm and safe. Parents often tell me they feel completely at ease knowing I’m there. I’d love to help you enjoy your night out worry-free!

Yulan was great! Good communication before the job. Showed up on time and jumped right in to all the action. Spoke Mandarin to kids as requested. She helped with 5-year old who loved her and with our 5-month old baby as well. Will definitely ask her to come back!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
