Hello! My name is Anaya, and I was born and raised in San Francisco. Growing up in a large family with many younger siblings naturally drew me into caregiving roles. I found joy in watching over the little ones, and that’s how my passion for childcare began. I am currently a college student at Skyline College, where I’m pursuing a degree in nursing. I have over five years of experience in caregiving, including nannying children ranging from infants to 10 years old. I truly enjoy collaborating with families and providing support in any way I can. In addition to nannying, I’m currently working for the San Francisco Unified School District as a paraeducator, which has further enhanced my skills and experience in working with children. I am happy to help with cleaning, cooking, and transportation needs, and I also offer dog sitting services, as I adore animals. My approach to babysitting focuses on keeping kids active and engaged in various activities. I am passionate about educational learning and strive to incorporate it into our time together. Thank you for taking the time to learn about me, and I look forward to the opportunity to assist families in our community!

Hello! I have been a nanny for the past six years, I am a very positive and kind individual. I have experience working with multiple kids at the same time. I’m good at managing and communicating with parents. I have built great bonds with the families I have worked with in the past and I am very flexible! I am a fluent spanish speaker with clean driving record and happy to enhance your child development.

Marjorie was great with my two girls. She asked great questions that gave me confidence she was equipped to handle my kids. And she put my daughter at ease, even though she tends to be quite reserved and shy.

Karla 4 reviews
San Francisco
$35 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in San Francisco, CA

My name is Karla S., and I have over 20 years of experience caring for infants, toddlers, and school-age children. I am currently seeking a temporary or short-term nanny position from now through the end of February, while preparing to begin a full-time role in March. I am happy to support a family during this transition with reliable, loving, and engaging care. I bring extensive experience in infant care, creative age-appropriate activities, and strong communication with parents. I am flexible, nurturing, and dependable, and I enjoy providing consistent support in short-term or transitional situations.

I was so lucky to have Karla watch my son while he was little and am forever grateful for the loving care she gave our son. She is an incredible nanny with a wealth of experience taking care of children. When we first worked with Karla, we were originally in a nanny share and although the other family moved out of the city, we just couldn’t let go of Karla! She cooked, sang, and played our son. She kept him safe, happy, and engaged all day long. She would take him to parks, the museum, the library, and had play dates with other families. He lived his best city life with her! She also introduced me to other moms with kids the same age, whom she knew. A good person like her is always connecting others. In that same vein, Karla was an excellent communicator. She let me know everything that was happening, what she was going to do that day, what they did together, and would send me tons of adorable pictures throughout the day. While in the nanny share, she took care of both kids, one of which was an infant. She balanced both of their needs - nap schedules, feeding, and playing! She multitasked like a pro and kept everyone happy. As a separate note, we also lived up a large hill in SF, with an additional two sets of stairs to get our place. Karla went up and down multiple times a day with two kids, and was still full of energy - always ready to play! We also had two cats that bothered her for attention and she was warm and kind to them too! As you can tell from her references and other reviews, she is an incredible person. I had to commute quite a ways away from my home but never felt nervous when Karla was watching my son. We trusted Karla with our most precious gift and we are so happy to have found her! I could not recommend such a talented, and trustworthy person more highly.

$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in San Francisco, CA

Hi!! My name is Nia and I am a student at SF State. I have over 10 years of experience caring for children through babysitting, tutoring, volunteering as a church youth group leader, and dance instructor. I am offering childcare, housecare, and pet care services! I am studying Psychology with an emphasis on Child and Adolescent Development, and Social/ Emotional learning so I am more than happy to help your children navigate their big emotions and conflicts. I encourage imaginative play, story time, and enjoying the outdoors but am more than happy to engage with their child in whatever interests they have. I love music, art, animals, crafts, and self expression through fashion and jewelry! I love caregiving because children remind me to enjoy the magical aspects of life that I grew to take for granted. They see the world through such a joyful lens that it brings me back some of the whimsy I had as a child. I can cook and clean, and provide homework help due to my experience as a tutor. I don't currently drive, but I am more than happy to take your children on walks to the park or public transit. I have a flexible schedule, and am available if you'd like to talk and learn more about me! Starting rate is 25 dollars an hour for one kid, 30 for homework help. Thank you:)

Nia is incredible - punctual, reliable, hardworking, meticulous, gentle but firm with our threenager, and every time she comes to help us out I feel a deep sense of relief. She tidies up kid chaos and is happy to take on light cleaning tasks - dishwasher and laundry. We've worked with her for about 4 months in the mornings (parent helper) and she takes our 3yo to school at least once a week, too. 11 out of 10.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
