Booked by 60 families in San Francisco, CA

Hi, my name is Amber I graduated from Cal State East Bay. I majored in nursing. Now I am a Home health Nurse. I am 26 years old. I offer senior care and child services. I have been a caregiver for seniors for the past 5 years. I do companionship, bathing, feeding, appointments, grocery runs. I have been a nanny on and off for the past 6 years. I hope to work with kids in the near future in the medical field, so it’s been a great experience working with kids and just seeing how to react around them and how kids are and how patient we have to be when we are around them and they could teach you so many things and I love working with kids. I am a very outdoors person. I love hiking and I also love to read. I also speak 5 languages.

Ambar was amazing with my baby girl. She arrived earlier than scheduled time, was very professional and respectful. Baby was very calm and happy with Ambar. Throughout the time Ambar was singing to her, reading to her and playing with her. I would hire Ambar again in a heartbeat!

El Cerrito
$30 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in San Francisco, CA

Hi there! My name is Christie but I prefer to go by Zahava, I am originally from Brazil but have been residing in the US for over 30 years. Professionally, I've been dedicating myself to early childhood education for over 20 years, having worked both as a nanny, as well as a preschool teacher for the past 10 years, however, my experience in this field is not limited to the little ones (which I adore!) I have also worked with middle and high schoolers in the past and currently, either teaching Portuguese, capoeira, Hebrew and judaic studies I am passionate about art, music, movement, and absolutely love to share my passion with the young crowd, and feel that my creativity, love and spontaneity are the greatest assets I bring to my work with children I speak fluent English and Portuguese and am conversant in Spanish and Hebrew. I am currently looking for a part time or full time position as a nanny and/or occasional babysitting.thank you for checking my profile, and I look forward to meeting you soon.

I’m happy to recommend Zahava as a babysitter. She was my daughter’s preschool teacher and consistently showed warmth, patience, and professionalism. Our daughter felt safe and happy in her care, and we always appreciated her nurturing and attentive approach. We would fully trust Zahava to care for our child outside the classroom and believe she’d be a wonderful babysitter.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
