Hi! My name is Elinor! I am 30 years old and work full time as a school teacher here in the Bay Area. I moved here 2 years ago. Prior to here, I worked at a boarding school in Maine for five years!! I am the eldest of four and have been Babysiting forever. I am confident to work with any number of kids and love kids of all ages! I also am a tutor and always available as needed for any kind of homework help! I am always looking for opportunities to babysit after school, on all school breaks and summer vacation, and on the weekends! Additionally, i welcome an opportunities to pet sit out house sit. I have lots of experience in both and can always be available for these needs as well and on any basis as needed! Other areas of experience to reach out to me for: - swim lessons - household management, especially with organization, laundry, dishes, meal prep, chores, etc! I am CPR certified and have been babysitting since I was 13. I am the eldest of four children and my dad was a single parent, so I often was in charge of taking care of my siblings.

Hello parents! I have been working with children since I was 14. I have been a camp counselor, a swim instructor aide, a lifeguard and a nursery care provider. I have current CPR/AED and first aid training as well as infant and child CPR training. I have experience with children of all ages. I love spending time with kids because they are so much fun and have boundless energy. When I take care of kids I love to play games, do arts and crafts, or anything else that keeps them active! I am also available to help with pets, light household chores, or any other things as needed. In my spare time I love reading, music movies, and spending time with friends. :) Please feel free to ask me any questions!

Chloe is so good with my 5 month old baby and I have every confidence in her as a sitter. She is in-sync with the baby's needs and cues, and she seems to genuinely enjoy him, which is the most important factor for me. As another has stated, she makes observations about the baby's development and behavior, which shows her involvement and interest. And even when my baby was overtired and screaming and taking a whole hour to go down for his nap, Chloe was able to handle it in stride, knowing that it was "nobody's fault" but rather something that just goes along with caring for babies.. She is quick to respond via message and text, and she is punctual. I also appreciate her personality- she's direct, confident, and has a wry sense of humor, but not in an angry way. I'm looking forward to using her again.

I'm the proud mom of a kind, curious, and cuddly tiny human who fills my life with joy and inspiration. Plus, I bring over 20 years of professional experience as a child care provider, camp counselor, tutor, family/personal assistant, household manager. On top of that, I have a lifetime of hands-on experience as the eldest sister of eight siblings-including two sets of twins! My philosophy is simple: Children teach us as much as we teach them. They remind us to slow down, find beauty in the little things, ask questions, and embrace change. I strive to nurture curiosity, intellect, and imagination in a safe, compassionate environment. I integrate music and play into everyday activities while empowering children to grow with confidence, self-discipline, and self-respect. I adapt my approach to each child's unique needs and development, as well as to each family. My passion lies in working as a team to create a fun and engaging atmosphere that fosters learning and growth!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
